The enthusiasm germinated by Mahaperiva in bakthi illakiyam made Tamil Nadu awaken to the clarion calls of Andal and Manikavasagar during the month of Margazhi. My mother Maragathavalli was His ardent devotee. Thanks to her I recited Thiruppavai and Thiruvembpavai from childhood.Eventually this resulted in my compilation of Thirumal Namavali from the exhilarating works of Andal. This photo of Mahaperiva was treasured by my mother.
I am recalling the great importance Periva attached to The works of Alwars and Nayanmars through which he instilled bakthi in young minds.
I am forwarding my compilation of Thirumal Namali which is the outcome of Periva’s encouragement.
I thank you for bringing to light Periva’s rare photos, incidents and messages to all his devotees.

Generally, we hear much about “Tiruppavai’. We don’t hear as much about ‘Thiruvembavai’.
Is it possible for anyone to share ‘Thiruvembavai’?
