4. லௌகிகச் சிறப்பும் வைதிகச் சிறப்பும்
ப்ரத்யக்ஷத்தில் நமக்குப் போஷாக்கு மிகுந்த பாலைக் கொடுத்தும், இன்னும் எத்தனையோ விதங்களிலும் பயன்களைத் தருகிற கோவே அப்ரத்யக்ஷத்திலும் அதைவிட ஜாஸ்தியான பயன்களைத் தருகிறது. ப்ரத்யக்ஷம் என்பதை லௌகிகம் என்றும் அப்ரத்யக்ஷத்தை அலௌகிகம் என்றும் சொல்வது. அலௌகிகம் என்பதை விட தெய்விகம் என்றும் ஆத்மிகம் என்றும் சொன்னாலே இக்காலத்தில் புரியும். வாஸ்தவத்தில் அதை வைதிகம் என்றே சொல்லவேண்டும். ஏனென்றால் வேதம் காட்டிக் கொடுக்காவிட்டால் நமக்கு தெய்வத்தையும் தெரியாது, ஆத்மாவையும் தெரியாது. தெய்விகம், ஆத்மிகம் எல்லாம் வைதிகம்தான்.
நேராக நம்முடைய இந்த்ரியங்களுக்கு அகப்படக் கூடியதாகவும், விஞ்ஞான பூர்வமாக நிரூபித்துக் கொள்ள முடிவதாகவும் இருப்பது லௌகிகம். அப்படியில்லாமல், ஆனால் ஆத்மாவுக்கு நல்லது செய்வதாக இருப்பது வைதிகம்.
இந்த இரண்டிலும் பசுவின் பெருமையைப் பார்க்கிறோம். ஒரு பசுவிடம் லௌகிகமாகச் சிறப்புப் பொருந்தியதாக இருக்கும் விஷயங்களிலேயேகூட வைதிகச் சிறப்பையும் பார்க்கிறோம்.

I wish to bring to your attention my request, unrelated to the above post. As I don’t have your e-mail ID, I am posting the message here.
Recently on May 10, my Sister-in-Law (Own elder Brother’s wife) died due to Cancer in Chennai. My Brother works as a Sales executive with a private Book publisher. They have a Son named “Sai Balaji alias Muthukumaran” and he was born on Dec. 21, 2011. Now he is less than 4 years old. Sai Balaji has understood well that his Mother is no more and he is living as usual. He is not in any sort of trauma or upset about the events happening around him.
My parents live with my Brother’s family and they are very old to take care of the child. My Brother’s in-laws are also old to take care of the child. My Brother’s job involves touring in Tamilnadu and he spends 40% of a month on touring.
In this situation, I wish to know if there are Gurukulams or Veda Pathasala that can take care to grow him. IMO, he should live in an environment with other boys, as now he is all alone.
Kindly help spread this request among your circle and help me in finding a place suitable for him to grow and learn Vedas.

4. Glory of the Cow
The cow which gives the most nutritious milk and other things gives greater benefits in spiritual terms (in Vaidhikam). Divinity, spirituality etc are all Vaidhikam – what has come to us from the Vedas. What can be perceived by the senses and proved scientifically is earthly, secular (lowkikam). But that which is not so but does good to the soul is Vaidhikam. The glory of the cow is seen in both.
