Sri Shankara Jayanthi Mahotsavam in Malleswaram

With the Inspiring Grace of Periyava, it is proposed to celebrate Sri Shankara Jayanthi Mahotsavam in Malleswaram, Bangalore. The celebrations will commence on Sunday, April 19th, 2015, and conclude on Thursday, April 23rd, 2015, with several dharmic and cultural programmes being held all through these five days.
A grand Veedhi Purappadu/Rathotsavam with be held on the concluding day where Acharyal will be seated on a bedecked chariot and pass through the streets of Malleswaram.
The detailed programme schedule can be found in the attached invite. There is a single event that hasn’t been included in the invitation, which is the Sahasra Gayathri Samashti Japam, which will take place on Sunday, April 19, commencing at 9.00 am.
Devotees are requested to participate in this Mahotsavam, which is a parva kalam and a punya dinam similar to Vinayaka Chaturthi, Mahashivarathri, Navarathri, Gokulashtami, etc, as decreed by Mahaperiyava, and be the recipients of the abundant blessings of Acharyal and Guru Parampara.
