Maithri – healing musical album from next generation of Mahaswami devotee

Maitri

As I have always said, our generation’s goal is to pass the Periyava devotion to the next generation. On that one, Auditor Sri Seetharaman, Washington DC has done a phenomenal job. His entire family is so devoted to Periyava and Kanchi Matam. He has shared quite some interesting incidents/blessings he got from Periyava via dreams etc – such a blessed person….His son (Abhinav) is  an upcoming mrudangam artist. He has been performing in many places in US and also in India. I remember when Sri Seetharaman called an year back to share his exciement that Abhinav got an opportunity to play in the adishtanam. Now Abhinav is coming up with a musical album – Maithri – under the category “musical healing”. Maitrim Bhajatha is one of the songs in the album. Both Abhinav and Seetharaman are absolutely particular that this song comes out first as a samarpan to Mahaperiyava and that too in our blog.

It is my pleasure to share such a wonderful rendition with all of you. On behalf of all of us here, let me first congratulate these kids for bringing out a great album and wish them all the bests. With Periyava’s blessings, I am sure they will go places with their musical talents!

Great job, Abhinav!! Looking forward to seeing your performance soon – come to Chicago!!!

Have had the pleasure of seeing and listening to Abhinav the past couple of years at the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana held in April each year. With this dedication, I now realize that it was my good fortune to experience those moments.
