Million thanks to http://sankaramathas.blogspot.in for bringing lot of these treasures out to the world…..
This is one of those amazing treasures….This Q&A is one of the most exhaustive, well-rounded work on advaitha. Quotes from vedam, Thirukural, Upanishads, ithikasa etc….This reminds me on a work of Sri Adi Shankara where the questions are answered in one word/sentence only! I forgot the name of that work….
This is a must-read…Don’t miss…

Adwaita Siddhantha Q & A pages 6 and 7 are missing
I wish these great treasure books published by Sri Kamakoti Gochasthaanam are republished! Kamakoti Pradeepam magazine has been revived and is regularly published from Sri Matham! Great book indeed! Thanks for uploading!
This book Advaitha Siddhantha Q&A is wonderful and comprehensive. It is addressing the advaita concepts to the present parlance. Many doubts get cleared. Thanks a lot for putting it here in the blog. It looks Shri MahaPeriyava has framed the questions and answered them. Jaya Jaya Shankara Hara Hara Shankara.
wonderful and thanks a lot. more than anything, short and simple periavas srimukham tells it all.
Mahesh Garu, we have not words to thank you for your wonderful contribution to the society by this way of sharing great treasures of our ancient religion. Just for your information pg 6 and 7 are missing in the pdf file.
Yes, I have already told about the missing page…Hopefully we should get them too….The reason I posted as-is was to read the rest – not waiting for those 2 pages 🙂
Thanks a lot for sharing this treasure. however pages 6 and 7 are missing. If it is an omission in scanning and if it is not inconvenient the same can be posted again. Not that it matters much. thanks again.

“Prashnottara Ratna Malika” is the name of the book by Adi Shankara where he presents the quintessence of Knowledge in question and answer format. It is a easily understandable poem in Sanskrit and generally Kanchi Matam gives copies of the book for visitors. I got one from Vijayendrar. It consists of thirty-eight/forty one-liner questions with one-word answers.
“Yaksha Prashna” in Mahabharatha also contains such Q&A.
Sri Ram – Please do not address acharyas with their names without prefixed by Sri or HH etc. It is a mark of disrespect. Sorry to say this.
I stand corrected. His Holiness Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal, Sri Sannidanam (correct me if this terminology is not used in Kanchi Mutt) , Kanchi Kamkoti Peetam , blessed me profusely with a grantha of Prashnothara Ratna malika. I never meant disrespect and I shared the above information because it was asked for in the post.
Hare Krishna! Shri Mahesh ji: All of us who are devotees of Mahaperiavaa are greatly indebted to you for bringing many hidden treasures into public domain. Either due to ignorance or lack of interest in our earlier stages, these treasures could not be located. Now, I read every line that you send out thro’ Sage of Kanchi. Hare Krishna.
