Sand blasting, using cement to restore the Vimana, Gopura, doing away with inscriptions, mural paintings and old herbal paintings atop the Gopuras, Gaudy ugly looking acrylic paintings every where. Our heart bleeds, those who understand what a heritage temple would not do this mistake again, again and again purely because of arrogance and the thought that they have Good money! let GOD save them! Please do not spoilt the heritage of India in the name of renovation. Those who do not know the finer aspects of a temple, please please please do not touch these temples. Many are spoilt, we have a huge list of such temples which are spoilt by these modern zihadis.
