Sri Sivaramakrishnan was having an uncured- stomach pain for long years. He had been the ‘Dharma-Adhikari’ of Sringeri Mutt. Once he came for the darshan of Periyava & prayed. He got the blessings & his stomach ace receded. Since then he has become an ardent sevak of the matam. He has been serving both the mutts. He’ll not hesitate to do anything that was asked by the kamakoti matam. For example, when asked for funding of compound wall for Sri Kamatchi Temple, he instantly gave Rs 50,000/-..
Paduka Mandapam committe at Thiruvanandapuram by Sri Swaminathan IAS has got a piece of Land in Karumana, Thiruvananthapuram Sri Sivaramakrishnan has assured Rs. 1 Lakh for the Paduka Mandapam, Karamana, Thiruvananthapuram. But for some reason, he was delaying. Committee that got the land was trying all the other ways to proceed. Suddenly, an income tax raid happened at Sri Sivaramakrishnan’s house. Everything was taken away except a bag that has Rs.1 Lakh!
Sri Mama has said it belong to Kamakoti Matam & it was informed to the Commissioner who advised the receipt to be produced & left that bag! Sri Sivaramakrishnan came in crying mood to Periyava. He said, “Periyava! I’ve assured to give it to Periyava’s project but delayed and got the punishment…” Periyava listened & didn’tsay anything but blessed him, recollects Sri Kannan Mama. The money has been used for the Paduka Mandapam. It has been a centre for mutt at Thiruvananthapuram.
Periyava never ever cursed anyone. In fact Sri Govinda Damodara Swamigal said, “Mahaan’s curse, if at all given, are indeed blessings only”. “…such happenings aren’t by conscious volition by the Saint but by the very nature of the act (of the devotee). itself…”, says another author. “Any interaction with Mahaan is useful to us, though it’s nothing more than nuisance value to them”, said one devotee of Sri Sivan Sar . Anantha koti Namaskarams to those interacted with (& therefore blessed by) Periyava.
