We have been seeing professional drawings of Periyava by jambhavans like Umesh, Shri B.N mama etc. For a change I am sharing one of the cutest work by a 8-year old girl – Iniya.
At this young age, she is so devoted to Periyava – not just her – her whole family. Her grandfather sent me this drawing almost a month back. Apparently I completely forgot to post this here. I did not realize that Iniya has been checking the blog regularly to see if this has been posted and got disappointed. I got a call from a friend of mine today and he told me this whole story. I felt too bad that I disappointed the youngest Periyava devotee so far.
To avoid any further delays, here is her fine work. It came out so well – I am not saying to maker her feel happy. Really it had come out really well for her age. Particularly the fingers of Periyava are looking very realistic.
Great job Iniya – First, sorry for the delay in posting this….Keep drawing more of thatha ummachi. Keep sending them my way – I promise, I will post them right away!!

May Ummachi thaatha shower his choicest blessings on Inia and her family as always. Without his grace, am sure such work at this young age would not have been possible. Blessed to have this original painting of Inia in our pooja room. She gifted this painting to us with the wonderful message of periyavaa ” One has to be humble; he has to render service to the society with the thought that it is the service to god. Then only it will be rewarding. Anything done without inner purity would end up as mere show. Anyone who does service like this will only inflate his/her ego”.
It was an apt message for me from Periyavaa as I was about to leave my house for volunteering in the kids summer camp in the nearby library.
