Today – 29 May – is the ‘Sanyasa Sweekara’ Day of His Holiness Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamiji. It was on this day in 1983 that His Holiness was anointed as the 70th Acharya of Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam.
