I regret to inform that Bashyamani Brahmasri Sivaramakrishna Sastrigal, Principal of Jagadguru Vidyasthanam, Tiruvanika and Sabha Pandithar of Advaitha Sabha, Trichy has attained the lotus feet of Mahaperiyava. Mama was a great scholar and an award reciepient from President of India . He was an ardant devotee of Paramacharya and well respected by Pudu Periyaval and Bala Periyaval. Very sad to hear the news. I am his student, learned Sanskrit and Vedam from him. Pray Periyava to rest his soul in peace. When I met him recently, he was mentioning about the articles he has written about Maha Periyava. Feeling disappointed that I have missed the chance to meet him during my trip last week.
