As part of the video interview series, some of the raja families were interviewed. First in the list is Pudukottai Raja’s family…Although a short video, she narrates her long-lasting link between the samasthanam and Sri Kanchi Matam till today…

I was now able to understand the reference to the “sand in the Dakshinamoorthy temple” around 3:00mins in the interview.
Pudukkottai Vedham VaLarntha Idam! ThirukkokarNam is 3 km. away from Pudukkoottai Bus Stand. Great shrine! Great experiences must have been there. Sri Sadasiva Brahmendra’s Blessings are abundant at Pudukkottai and also at ThirukkokarNam Temple(Araikkaasu Amman , Sri Brihadhaambikai sametha Sri ThirukkokarNeeswarar). A vigraham of Sri Sadasiva Brahmendrar can be seen on a pillar in the temple. Great to hear Maha Periyava and Periyava experiences as told by this lady devotee! I hope the Manual referred to will give more light into Pudukkottai Samasthaanam and Kanchi Sri Matham links! Jaya Jaya Sankara, Hara Hara Sankara!
True..My father’s native place is Thirukogarnam. I have been to that temple….However – don’t recall vigraham on the temple pillar…will look for it next time..
