Looking for some info on 501 (c) organization in US

Dear Readers,

This message is primarily for US-based readers.

I am interested in identifying any 501 (c) non-profit organizations that are already established in US. I would like to partner with them to do few projects. Please let me know if you have one or know someone who can potentially help me.

Thanks

Mahesh

  1. Mahesh,

    My two cents….

Instead of separate temple, why don’t we ask all Hindu temples in USA to hold a Mandapam for Periyava as they keep one for “Sheeradi Sai Baba”. I have seen “Ramanujar” at Denver temple. This way, easy to maintain the temple in long run.

    1. great idea – will definitely try..in US temple board management are largely by major donors etc. Whatever they say is final. Many times their decisions are wrong – not taken with devotees in mind – always with commercial motives….

  3. Respected Shri Maheshji,

  4. If you can tell me what kind of projects they are, I can help you better. Is it for education, or is it for some religious activities?

      1. Oh. very noble thought indeed. I was thinking of the Vedanta society, they are here in Kansas City also. Maybe we can approach them also.

      1. Mahesh Sir,
Sri.Chandrasekhran Tirumurthi was trying to establish 501c for his Cuddalore Veda Padashaala in bay area Ca. I spoke with him in 2013 pertaining to making a small donation for the padashaala. His email id is tcsekhar1@yahoo.com. I would be extremely happy and blessed if this would be of any little help in this noble cause. Vimala Mohan
