Sin is committed out of ignorance & that is why right knowledge of the Self is needed.
असतोमा सद्गमय
तमासोमा ज्योतिर्गमय
मृतयोर्मा अमृतँगमय
Once the person’s conscience (Self) awakens to the Truth sin is wiped out and Dharmic action is restored!
