It is when, acting with selfish desire, we venture to indulge in all kinds of wrongful actions to achieve our selfish goal. By doing so, we load our mind with the impurity of enmity, fear, sorrow etc.

Yes -actions performed selflessly with the sole intention of the action for the good of one/all is free from darkness of negativity.
Sin is committed out of ignorance & that is why right knowledge of the Self is needed.

Once the person’s conscience (Self) awakens to the Truth sin is wiped out and Dharmic action is restored!
