When does an action result in sin?

It is when, acting with selfish desire, we venture to indulge in all kinds of wrongful actions to achieve our selfish goal. By doing so, we load our mind with the impurity of enmity, fear, sorrow etc.

“Total commitment to our action becomes possible only when the itch for selfish desire is absent and therefore the action is honest”…

  1. Yes -actions performed selflessly with the sole intention of the action for the good of one/all is free from darkness of negativity.
Sin is committed out of ignorance & that is why right knowledge of the Self is needed.
    असतोमा सद्गमय
    तमासोमा ज्योतिर्गमय
    मृतयोर्मा अमृतँगमय
Once the person’s conscience (Self) awakens to the Truth sin is wiped out and Dharmic action is restored!
