  1. Only once at Kurnool Chaturmaasyam 1983 Navarathri Vijaya Dasami Day! Sri Bala Periyava took Sanyaasa only a few months before that. My mother who passed away in 1984, my wife and I and my brother, Manni and children all went to Kurnool and had Dharshan. It was a sight for Gods! We were fortunate to see! Sri Bala Periyava was reading Paatam (probably Sankara Bhashyam on Brahma Sutras) in front of Maha Periyava who was listening keenly and was also asking questions in between with Sri Periyava beaming happily at His Sishya’s erudition! There was Saraswathi Pooja with Vedic Texts being covered by white silk cloth and Maha Saraswathi Picture and all. At the end the three Periyavas did PrathakshiNam and did Namaskarams like Roman soldiers, dipping their Dhandas and touching the ground in front of the Goddess of Learning. Thirty years on, still I remember that day vividly. We saw Maha Periyava at a distance of just 5 feet in front of us, as He was going for His bath. He was silent with folded hands and the Living God Blessed us all. We did Namaskaram on the sands. We also had Dharshan of Mahan sri Raghavendra Swamy at Manthraalayam the same day. Very Blessed. Jaya Jaya Sankara, Hara Hara Sankara!

  2. Jaya jaya Sankara Hara hara Sankara

I do not recollect seeing the three periyavas together at the same instance; but blessed to have seen them at the same place twice,,,once at Karnool and once at Kanchi mutt.

My father took us to Karnool where all three periyavas were camping at the same rice mill. Blessed to have had multiple darshans of the three periyavas, including a viswaroopa darshanan of Maha periyaval.; vague recollection that Bala periyaval used stay at the same hut as Maha periyaval.

One of the devotees had brought the vigrahams of Rama, Seetha, Lakshmana and Hanuman; probably for consecrating at a temple. For the first time in my life I saw how Maha Periyava prayed to the vigrahams; he was conversing with each one of the vigrahams (like talking to a person in-live).

During the viswaroopa darshanam, for the benefit of everyone, Maha Periyava climbed up on a table..;I thought that the table was not stable (with shaking legs), but to my surprise, Maha Periyava balanced very comfortably and stood on the table for about 10-15 mins.

Jaya jaya Sankara Hara hara Sankara

  3. DEAR ALL DIVINE LOVERS AND FOLLOWERS, THE PARABRAHMAM IS ONE BEING SEEN
IN DIFFERENT FORMS BY ALL.ALL THE FORMS DEPICT ONLY ONE PARABRAHMAM.

THE SAME LOGIC APPLIES TO ALL WHO REALISES DIVINE. ALL NOBLE SOULS ARE GOD.
IF ANY ONE WORSHIP DIVINE IN ONE FORM IT IS A PROOF THAT HE/SHE HAS WORSHIPPED THE ENTIRE DIVINITY. ONLY ONE CONDITION – NO DIFFERENTIATION
ON THE BASIS OF RELIGION.GOD WILL NEVER PERMIT,ADMIRE NEGATIVE QUALITIES.

OM JAYA JAYA JAYA SANKARA OM HARA HARA HARA SANKARA, OM JAI SRI SAI RAM
OM SRI SARVA MANGALA DATTATREYA SWAMI THUNAI,OM SRI SARVA MANGALA DIVINE GRACE THUNAI

  4. My family got the blessing to go to kanchi for Maha Periyava’s kanagabishekam. Needless to say pudhu periyava and bala periyava were besides Maha Periyava. Because of so much rush, we could see the abhishekam through the TV there. Very blissful for having gotten such an opty to be there at that time. Jaya Jaya Shankara Hara Hara Shankara!!!

    • To live in the days of maha periava (contemperory) is a varaprasadam. More to be blessed by HIM at thenambakkam, on my upayanayanam in 1964 at Madras was one of the life time events in my life. Even though not known then, recollections of those moments…..no words……

  5. Rama Rama

I am blessed to see all the three gurumurthys together.

But I could not remember the blissful day.

    Rama Rama

  6. I have voted ‘Yes’. because though I have not seen all three Periavals together in physical form, yet:

I have seen my beautiful golden cow Yamuna, with her daughter Gauri and granddaughter Bhaktu, all standing together, and one licking the other.

I have seen a grand old banyan tree with roots which have become trees, and whose roots have also become trees.

I have seen the ocean into which flows a river with its streams.

So I know I have seen all the Periavals together.

  8. oh yes, there are unforgettable incidents in my life. apart from that, when my first sons marriage in 1986 invitation was, as usual read to periava for getting his approval before printing etc. he told me to go and read out that invitation to bala periava, tell pudu periava and then come. it was then that he asked me to correct seematha putra to jyesta putra in the patrika(pointing out that i had lost my seemantha putra just immediately after the birth of that child and we didnt remember that at all!!!!). the most fortunate persons are my family members who not only had darshan of all the three periavas at a time many times but also interact with each one of them. More blessed is my son swaminathan since he had the opportunity of even spending time with them.

  9. Radhe Krishna. Yes. Hara Hara Sankara, Jaya Jaya Sankara.
