Assistance for Uttarakhand Flood Relief


We all saw the nature’s fury and the disaster that happened. Several villages have disappeared ; thousands of people died and the count keeps increasing…It is very saddening…. Check this link for more photos…

Kamakoti matam has immediately responded with a contribution of Rs 20 lakhs and other material for the affected people. Let us all join with our Sri matam in supporting  and give our contribution – no matter how small it is to help the families affected.

    Eerie coincidence? Devotees point out that the flash floods came just a day after the statues of Goddess Kali (Dhari Devi) in Kedarnath was to be shifted for a hydel power project. In 1882, a similar flash flood flattened Kedarnath a day after the idol was to shifted. Today, the hydel project has been badly damaged. Nature’s ire?
