This is not a new book. Same one I published long back in English (http://wp.me/pu3GD-oQ). There are no words to explain about this book. At the end of this book, one would only envy “why can’t I be that Dr Sundararaman?” – such a blessed soul. His English itself was outstanding. Now, Shri Narayanan Bala had done an translation in Tamil, which brings the nativity to all of us – to me, that matters a lot – and added more flavor to this treasure! It isn’t an easy job to do such translation. Shri Narayanan has done a fantastic job. Our namaskarams to both Dr Sundararaman and Narayanan. I intend to do a video interview with Dr Sundararaman at the earliest – long due task at my end!
Here is the book at scribd for online reading and also a link to my google documents for download.

Dear mahesh,
Thanks for the article I remember having suggested in one of your blog about this book
First I read way back in 2008 through my friend Mr. Jayashankaran s/o Sri ICF Neelakanta mama ,AGM Corporation bank
Every time I read I am having tears in my eyes.thank you
Reblogged this on kahanam and commented:
One of the outstanding classics of Kanchi Maha Periyava literature. If a reading of this article by Dr. D. Sundararaman does not purify and elevate you, I do not know what else will do that! Please read with patience and devotion. You will become a better person, I assure you!
How true! I agree with you 200%
I was blessed to see Dr. Sundararaman at his residence near Tambaram, Chennai once during his visit to India annually from the U.S. My cousin brother and Manni who knew them at the U.S. took my wife and I there. Dr. Sundararaman was very kind and shared some of his intimate moments with Maha Periyava, during his student days. His eyes welled with tears whenever he spoke about Maha Periyava’s kindness. We also could not resist our tears. Both Maha Periyava and Dr. Sundararaman are great souls. How much dear he must have been to Maha Periyava, that Maha Periyava spontaneously said that He was keeping one person in his Heart, but he flew away.I have referred this article to many people, young and old. I am yet to find somebody whose heart did not melt while reading this. Even today, as I am reading this article, particularly when he talks of his being a student of Periyava University, I could not but choke. Such was the Bhakthi and Surrender that Dr. Sundararaman has for Maha Periyava! May a small drop of that boon fall on us, ordinary mortals! We will attain Moksha! Thanks for uploading again this classic. All elders should motivate youngsters to read this again and again. Thanks a lot, Anusham Narayanan Bala Sir and Mahesh! Jaya Shankara, Hara Hara Shankara!
After reading this book I realized that Dr.Sundarraman is also like the shiva bakthar Sundarar. Just as Lord Parameswaran was a messanger to Sundarar , Maha periyava (Lord Parameswaran) carried Dr.Sundarraman on his shoulders throughout his tough times. After reading it my eyes were flooded with tears. I have not performed punniyam anywhere close to Dr.Sundarraman’s.
Few days back only, this book series was concluded in “Periva.org”. Now, I have received a BONUS.
Jaya Jaya Sankara ! Hara Hara Sankara!
Thanks & namaskarams to Shri Narayanan Bala. I loved reading this in tamil. Can we ever be satisfied reading this a few times. How many simplest, essential and fundamental facts of life are taught by Periayava through this. It is very important that people who have received such blessings should share it to.(It is clear, this sharing too happens through Periyava only). I look forward for the long awaited interview with Shri Dr.Sundarraman.
Hara Hara Shankara Jaya Jaya Shankara
The very fact we are able to read about this even today through this blog, reveals that Mahaperiyava’s Grace is bound to guide us throughout in every single act of our life, whenever I get a little time for self introspection while I am examining patients or while conducting classes,I keep chanting one mantra, which I consider as powerful as Gayatri Mantra,
“Apara Karuna Sindhum,Gnadham Santha Roopinam
Sri Chandrasekhara Gurum,Pranamami Mudhanvaham”
Gifted are we to have got a chance to know these things from this blog….
Great Service Mahesh
People who are only really blessed will have such an opportunity to witness the Nadamaadum Deivam of Maha Periyava.

sorry i found the link here itself

NICE TRANSLATION. IT HAS OVERTAKEN THE ORIGINAL. MAY ACHARYA BE OUR GUIDING LIGHT.
It is indeed a great job done by Mr. Narayanan. Though I read this book in English, it will be nice to read in Tamil.. Mahapriyaval Charanam..
. nadamaadum deivam periva…. naan kadavulai paarthirukiren
This book in its orginal version changed my life altogether. I was a resdient of Kanchipuram. Shri Chandru mama, nephew of Shri Sundarraman is our family friend and a collegue of my Father. Shri Chandru mama gave us one of the orginal scripts of the book way back in 1993 when the contents of this book was about to be published in the Souvenir. This is one of the books with first hand experiences and he would stress that he is not exaggerating any of his experiences.
Each and every time I read this book, my eyes are flooded with tears. Whenever I am in trouble, I make it a point to read this book. This is the Bhagwad Gita for me. Shri Sundarraman mama has contributed immensely – financially for various projects of the Mutt. Surely an interview with him would be very apt.
Thank you so much for this treasure of a book. I have downloaded from the Google document, onto my PC.
I am blessed indeed to be able to read about such experiences.
Thanks again for the yeoman service that you are doing !!!
HARA HARA SANKARA, JAYA JAYA SANKARA. HARA HARA HARA SANKARA, JAYA JAYA SANKARA. HARA HARA SANKARA, JAYA JAYA SANKARA. HARA SANKARA, JAYA JAYA SANKARA.
