“1387 ரூபாய் அனுப்பு “
ஆரூரன்
அன்று காஞ்சீபுரம் ஸ்ரீமடத்தில் ஸ்ரீமஹா பெரியவாள் தரிசனம் தந்து கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். உடன் அணுக்கத்தொண்டர் சிலர் மட்டும் இருக்க பயத்துடன் தயங்கியபடியே சற்று ஓரமாகச் சென்று நமஸ்கரித்தேன்.
திரும்பிப்பார்த்த ஸ்ரீபெரியவாள் ” பூனா க்ருஷ்ணமூர்த்திக்கு பேப்பர் சிலவு, ஸ்டாம்ப், தபால்சிலவு நிறைய ஆறதாம். அதுக்காக ஒரு வருஷத்துக்கு மாசாமாசம் 1387ரூபாய் இவனை அனுப்பச் சொல்லு ” என்று கணீர்க் குரலில் உத்தரவிட்டார்கள்.
உடம்பும் மனசும் பதறிக்கொண்டிருந்ததால் உத்தரவானது சட்டென்று பிடிபடவில்லை.
“பூனா கிருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி… பூனா கிருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி…” என்று இரண்டு முறை அழுத்திச்சொன்னவர்களிடமிருந்து மறுபடியும் “1387 ரூபாய் அனுப்பு!” என்று ஆக்ஞை வந்தது.
“அப்படியே செய்கிறேன் ” என்று சொல்வதற்குக்கூடத் தைரியம் இல்லை. நாக்குக் குழறிக்கொண்டு தலையைத் தாழ்த்தி பலமுறை நமஸ்கரித்தேன். கையைத் தூக்கி ஆசீர்வாதம் செய்தார்கள்…
…பக்கத்தில் ஏதோ சப்தம்… கண்ணைத்திறக்கிறேன்..
“இத்தனையும் ஸ்வப்னத்திலேன்னா நடந்திருக்கு! …” வாரிச் சுருட்டிக்கொண்டு எழுந்து மணியைப் பார்த்தபோது விடியற்காலம் நாலரை ஆகியிருந்தது.
அன்றைக்குத் தேதி 15/10/2012. விடிந்தால் திங்கட்கிழமை…
“யாரை வேண்டுமானாலும் ஸ்வப்னத்தில் பார்க்கலாம். ஆனால் எங்க அண்ணாவைப் பார்க்கணும்னா அவாளே நெனைச்சு தரிசனம் தந்தால்தான் உண்டு. அதனால் பெரீவா ஸ்வப்னத்தில் வந்தால் நேரா வந்தா மாதிரின்னு எடுத்துண்டு அவா சொன்னதைசெய்யணும் ” என்று ஸ்ரீசிவன் சார் சொல்லிக்கொடுத்தது நினைவுக்கு வருகிறது.
சட்டென்று விபூதியை அள்ளிப் பூசிக்கொண்டு மேற்கொண்டு செய்வதறியாது அமர்ந்திருந்தேன். மணி ஆறு அடித்தது…
“இத்தனை பெரிய ஜன ஸமூஹத்தில் பூனா க்ருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி என்பவரை எப்படித் தேடிக்கண்டு பிடிப்பது? பெரீவா உத்தரவாச்சே.. கட்டாயம் செய்துடணுமே ” என்று மனது சஞ்சலித்தது.
உள்ளுக்குள் ஒரு யோசனை. “சிவராமனிடம் கேட்கலாமே” …
விஷயத்தைக் கேட்டுகொண்டசிவராமன் “இதோ அஞ்சு நிமிஷத்தில் சொல்றேன்” என்றார். அவரே மறுபடியும் லைனுக்கு வந்தார்.
“ஆரூரான்!பெரீவா வாக்கு ஸத்யம்! நீ கேட்ட மாதிரி பூனா க்ருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி சாஸ்த்ரிகள்னு ஒர்த்தர் காஞ்சீபுரத்திலேயே இருக்கார். அவரும் அவாத்து மாமியும் லிங்கப்பையர் தெருவில் வேதபவனம் என்கிற மடத்து கட்டிடத்தில் இருக்கா. அவருக்கு வயசு தொண்ணூறு இருக்கும். பெரீவாளின் சதாரா யாத்ரையின்போதெல்லாம் நிறைய கைங்கர்யம் பண்ணியிருக்கார். பெரீவா உத்தரவுப்படி ரொம்ப நாளா வேதபாராயணம் மடத்தில் நடத்திண்டு இருக்காராம். அதுக்காக எல்லோருக்கும் நிறைய தபால் போட்டுக்கொண்டே இருப்பாராம்… அவரின் அட்ரஸ் எழுதிக்கோ… போன் நம்பரும் தரேன்.. நோட் பண்ணிக்கோ.. அவரிடமும் பேசிட்டேன்.. மறக்காமல் இன்னிக்கே பணத்தை மணி ஆர்டர் பண்ணிடு ” என்று மூச்சு விடாமல் சொல்லிமுடித்தார்.
பத்து நிமிஷத்துக்குள் எல்லாம் கிடைத்துவிட்டது.
“சீக்ரம் குளிச்சுட்டு, பெரீவா பாதுகை கிட்ட பணத்தை வைத்து நமஸ்காரம் பண்ணிட்டு அடுத்த வேலையைப் பாருங்கோ” என்றாள் என் அகத்துக்காரி.
ஸ்ரீமஹாபெரியவாள் படத்தைப் பார்த்தேன்.
“கொஞ்ச நேரத்துக்கு முன்னாடி… பெரீவா உத்தரவாயிடுத்தே… இத்தனை பெரிய ஜன ஸமூஹத்துக்குள் பூனா கிருஷ்ணமூர்த்தியை எப்டித் தேடப்போறோம்னு ரொம்பவும் பயந்துட்டியோ?” என்று கருணையுடன் கேட்பதுபோலிருந்தது.
தெரிஞ்சதைச் சொல்லி ரெண்டு பத்ரபுஷ்பத்தைச் சார்த்தி விட்டு பணத்தை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு தபால் ஆபீசுக்குப் .போய் பூனா க்ருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி சாஸ்த்ரிகளுக்கு 1387 ரூபாய் மணி ஆர்டர் அனுப்பினேன்.
“அப்பாடா… பெரீவா உத்தரவிட்டபடி செஞ்சாச்சு” … என்றாலும் “அது என்ன 1387 ரூபாய் கணக்கு? ” மனசு கேள்வியைப் போட்டது!…
“அது என்ன 1387 ரூபாய்?..” மனசின் கேள்விக்கு புத்தியால் பதில் சொல்லக் கூடவில்லை.
“கொஞ்ச நேரம் ஆராய்ச்சி பண்ணாமல் இருக்கியா.. நானே ஒண்ணும் புரியாமல் முழிச்சிண்டு இருக்கேன்” புத்தி தனியாகக் கழற்றிக்கொண்டது.
“சரி.. எல்லாம் பெரீவா விட்ட வழி!” என்று ஒரு மாதிரியாக மனசு மடங்கிக்கொண்டது.
கொஞ்ச நேரத்துக்கெல்லாம் பழைய சம்பவம் ஒன்று நினைவுக்கு வந்தது…
1990ம் வருஷம். ஸ்ரீமஹாபெரியவாள் ஸ்ரீமடத்தில் இருந்த சமயம். ஸ்ரீசந்த்ரமௌளீ ச்வரர் சன்னதிக்கெதிரில் ஸ்ரீகார்யம் நீலகண்ட ஐயர் மாமா தன் அன்றைய அலுவல்களில் மும்முரமாயிருந்தார். அருகில் அமர்ந்தபடி அவருக்கு ஒத்தாசை செய்து கொண்டிருந்தேன். ஸ்வாமி சந்நதிப் பக்கமிருந்து ஸ்ரீசந்த்ரமௌளி மாமா (ஸாமவேதி ) வேகமாக வந்தார்.
” ஏய்.. உன்னை பெரீவா உத்தரவாறது” என்றார்.
என்னால் இதை நம்ப முடியவில்லை.
“மாமா, பெரியவாளுக்கு என்னைத் தெரியாதே.. எங்க தாத்தா அப்பாவையெல்லாம்தானே தெரியும்.. சரியாகக் கேட்டுண்டுட்டேளா ?.. ஒரு சமயம் அவாளுக்கு ஏதானும் உத்தரவு பண்ணியிருக்கப் போறா?” என்று குறுக்குக் கேள்வியைப் போட்டேன்.
” ஏம்ப்பா.. எத்தனை வருஷமா பெரீவாட்ட இருக்கேன். அவா சொல்றத கரெக்டா நான் புரிஞ்சுக்க மாட்டேனா?.. உன்னைச் சொல்லிதாம்ப்பா உத்தரவாச்சு!” என்று அழுத்திச் சொன்னவர் கையோடு என்னைக் கொண்டுபோய் ஸ்ரீமஹாபெரியவாளின் சன்னதியில் ஆஜர்படுத்தினார்.
இதிலிருந்துதான் ஸ்வாரஸ்யமான கதை ஆரம்பம்…
அணுக்கத்தொண்டர் : ” திருவாலூர் ஆடிட்டர் வெங்கட்ராமையர் பேரன் இதோ நிக்கறான் ”
ஸ்ரீமஹாபெரியவாள்: ” இவனா..? எனக்காக பத்தாயிரம் ரூபாய் இவன் தர்மம் பண்ணுவானான்னு கேளு !”
அணுக்கத்தொண்டர் : ” ஏம்ப்பா, நீ பெரீவாளுக்காக பத்தாயிரம் ரூபாய் தர்மம் பண்ணுவியா?”
ஆரூரன் : ” எங்கிட்டப் பணம் இல்லை. எங்க அப்பாக்கிட்ட கேட்டு வாங்கித்தரேன். ”
அணுக்கத்தொண்டர் : ” இவன் படிச்சிண்டிருக்கான். அதனால தன் அப்பாட்டக் கேட்டு வாங்கித்தரேங்கறான்.”
ஸ்ரீமஹாபெரியவாள் : ” என்ன படிக்கறான் கேளு! ”
அணுக்கத்தொண்டர் : (அவராகவே) “சி. ஏ படிக்கறான்”.
ஸ்ரீமஹாபெரியவாள் : ” இவன் ஏன் சி.ஏ படிக்கறான் கேளு! ” (அணுக்கத் தொண்டருக்கு இந்தக் கேள்வி புரியவில்லை )
ஸ்ரீமஹாபெரியவாள்: ” அந்தக்காலத்ல இவன் தாத்தா பெரீய்ய ஆடிட்டர்… அவர் சி.ஏ படிக்கலே… ப்ராக்டீஷனர்தான். இவன் அப்பாவும் ஆடிட்டர்தான். ஆனா tax advocate. அவா ரெண்டு பேருமே சி. ஏ படிக்காமலேயே ஆடிட்டராக முடிஞ்சுதுன்னா இவன் மட்டும் சி.ஏ படிச்சு என்ன பண்ணப் போறானாம்..?” (சிறிது நேரம் மௌனம்.. பிறகு தொடர்கிறார்கள். ) “சரி.. எப்போ படிச்சு முடிப்பான்னு கேளு !”
அணுக்கத்தொண்டர் : ” எப்போப்பா படிச்சு முடிப்பே?”
(அந்த சமயத்தில் C A Intermediate ஒரு பாதி முடிந்து அடுத்ததை முடிக்க முடியாமல் நான் தடுமாறிக் கொண்டிருந்தேன்.)
ஸ்ரீமஹாபெரியவாள் இப்படி கேள்வி கேட்டதும் அழுகை மேலிட்டது.
ஆரூரன் : “எப்போ முடிப்பேன்னு தெரீலை பெரீவா .. ரொம்ப கஷ்டமாயிருக்கு .. பெரீவா அனுக்ரஹம் பண்ணினா படிச்சு பாஸ் பண்ணிடுவேன்.”
ஸ்ரீமஹாபெரியவாள் : ” அப்டின்னா, இன்னும் நாலு வருஷத்ல பாஸ் பண்ணிடுவானா கேளு !”
ஆரூரன் : (அழுதுகொண்டு நமஸ்கரித்தபடியே) ” பெரீவா அனுக்ரஹத்ல பாஸ் பண்ணிடறேன் பெரீவா…”
ஸ்ரீமஹாபெரியவாள் : “அப்போ சரி… நாலு வருஷத்ல சி.ஏ படிச்சு பாஸ் பண்ணிட்டு அப்றமா எனக்கு பத்தாயிரம் ரூபாய் கொண்டுவந்து கொடு!”
இதற்குப் பிறகு நான் ஸத்குரு ஸ்ரீசிவன்சார் அவர்களிடம் அடைக்கலமானேன். ஒரு தாயார் தன் குழந்தையைப் பார்த்து கொள்வது போல ஸ்ரீசிவன்சார் என்னைப் பார்த்துக்கொண்டார். என்னைத் துரிசடக்கிப் படிக்க வைத்தார்.
சரியாக நான்கு வருஷம் கழித்து 1994 மே மாதம் சி.ஏ முடித்தேன்…. ஆனால், ஸ்ரீமஹாபெரியவாள் உத்தரவிட்டபடி பத்தாயிரம் ரூபாயை அவர்களிடம் என்னால் தர முடியவில்லை.
ஆமாம்.. ஸ்ரீமஹாபெரியவாள் 1994 January மாசம் சித்தியடைந்து விட்டார்கள்……
கடந்த காலச் சம்பவங்களை மனத்தால் அளைந்தபடியே அருகிலிருந்த ஸ்ரீமஹாபெரியவாள் படத்தைப் பார்த்தேன்.
“பெரீவாளுக்குச் சேரவேண்டிய பத்தாயிரம் ரூபாய்க்கு இருபத்திரெண்டு சொச்சம் வருஷத்துக்கு 3% simple interest ரூபாய் 6650/- . அதனுடன் ரூபாய் 10,000/- அசலையும் கூட்டினால் மொத்தம் ரூபாய் 16650/- அதை பன்னிரெண்டு மாசத்துக்கும் பிரிச்சால் 1387 ரூபாய் வரும் பார்..” என்று உள்மனசு சொன்னது !
“ தொழுது தூமலர் தூவித்துதித்து நின்று
அழுது காமுற்று அரற்றுகின்றாரையும்
பொழுதுபோக்கிப் புறக்கணிப்பாரையும்
எழுதும் கீழ்க்கணக்கு இன்னம்பர் ஈசனே”

Very moved to read this article. Thanks Ramesh for translating it to english. I can’t read tamil. I did not get the opportunity to meet Periyava when he was in his physical body. Just a week back, i had a small glimpse of periyava in my dream. Felt very blessed. Iam getting to know periyava by all the experiences that people are sharing here. Thanks Everyone. May the grace and blessings of the Maha Periyava be on all of us all the time.
In 1976, Anna Ganapthi(Sri Ra. Ganapathi) was looking for some reference about a saint who lived 800 before us in Maharashtra area. His works are immortal. At that time I was a student in University of Madras. I told anna I will look for the material he is looking for in the university library. As a research student I learned how to look for reference articles. No google at that time. I begged anna to give two days time. After a day I met anna in the evening as usual I do. Anna surpriased me. He told me the saint appeared to him to clarify the reference anna is looking for in the afternoon. As I believe in anna I did not doubt about what he said. But I was wondering how a periyava can pass the time line of 800 years and answer a geniune questions. Anna explained to me that great Souls even after merging with God, always available for believers beyound the time scale. This made me to understand that people like mahaperiyava will reach any one anywhere any time. He is here with us in and around.
Once you take away your Ego in toto and surrender to HIM,then every thing will become very easy for you, in the year 1965/66,our father has taken us to Sabarimala after our Upanayanam.My father and all other devotees has just camped om Sabrimala Sannidhanam itself.My brother Hariharan was suffering with fever that night.My father feel very sad and prayed to Lord Aiyappa and our Kanchi MahaPeriyava and with a Kuvalai he just come out of the Veri(Our camping place) and ask for some water for my brother to a fellow devotee camping in a faraway place.He told my father”I have No hot water to give you,but i will give you two glasses of hot Kanji” give me your Kuvalai,then he pour the hot kanji in to it.My fathers eyes moist like any thing,i have asked Aiyappa one glass of hot water but he served me hotkanji ,i cannot forget this in my life.He used to tell this when ever news item of Sabarimalai crop up in our talk till his death in March2011.Kanchi Periyava was his Pratyaksha Deivam. Periyava will never let down his devotees at any time or at any place. He is even today with us answering our queries if you ask him for a solution sincerly.

IN MY CHILDHOOD DAYS MY MOTHER USED TO SAY “DEIVA KADAN NOOTRAANDU”, means the God graciously accepts the debt from us waiting even for 100 years. So, the ‘leela-vinodam’ of Shri Mahaperiyava reminding you with certain clues is really interesting to read. “Kanakku yendral kanakkaga irukkanam” is the golden words of such Mahans.

Had the privilege of hearing the story from the mounth of “Poona Sastrigal” himself and his part of the :story” is much more exiting !!!!..Let me give that for the benefit of all HIS followers ….According to the words of Sri.”poona sastrigal” he was sitting at the Holy Anushtanam and murmuring his mind out..He had his own worries about the coming Skandashasti Veda Parayanam expenses and also the ongoing daily Veda Parayanam expenses and all…This he had statred at the command of Mahaperiyaval himself and has been managing all these years with difficulty, collecting from around and spending out of pocket and all….so naturally with growing age, the burden of collection , has been telling on his mental self….This not so loud murmur seems to have been heard from behind the Anushtanam…Immediately after his prayers and murmur all in one, “poona Sastrigal” gets a call the nexrt day from an un-known person in Pondichery saying that he is sending a M.O. for Rs.1,387/- towards the Veda Parayanam expenses…This has been one wonder and anybody is perplexed about the figure 1,387/-…
So the whole story comes to light to us all and the truth of the LIVING GOD is there for us to wonder about !!!!!!!!!!

After reading this, I was dumbfounded, felt numb and thrilled. It reinforced the view that here was a great soul, doing amazing things effortlessly, seeking very little from this world; but has given so much to all the devotees and less fortunate.
Truly is it not the role of Lord Parameswara ? Yes,since He is the Sarveswaran,
He is ever present amongst each one of us who seeks His guidance and blessings, . Many such experiences may look like Miracles only to we mortals; for Him, it is routine.

மஹா பெரியவாளைப் பற்றி படிக்க படிக்க உடல் சிலிர்க்கிறது. கண்களில் நீர் பெருகுகிறது. சமீபத்தில் எனக்கு ஏற்பட்ட ஒரு அனுபவம். நானும் என் அலுவலகத்தில் என்னுடன் வேலை செய்து வரும் தோழியும் அலுவலக வேலை விஷயமாக ஹரித்வார் சென்றபோது நடந்தது இது. மும்பையிலிருந்து டெல்லி சென்று அங்கே இரண்டு நாள் தங்கினோம். இரண்டாம் நாள் டெல்லி சுற்றி பார்க்கலாம் என்று கிளம்பியவர்களுக்கு காங்கிரஸ் மகாநாடு நடந்ததால் எங்கே திரும்பினாலும் ஒரே ஜன வெள்ளம். அதனால் tight security. இரண்டு இடங்கள் மட்டும் பார்த்துவிட்டு ஒரு ஹோடேலில் சாப்பிட்டுவிட்டு மதியம் ஹரிட்வருக்கு ரயில் ஏறினோம். இரவு ஹரித்வார் போய் சேர்ந்து எங்கள் ரூமுக்கு வந்தால், உணவு தயார் இல்லை. முன்பே சொன்னால்தான் தயார் செய்வோம், இப்போது ஒன்றும் இல்லை, வெளியில் பொய் சாப்பிடுங்கள் என்று சொல்லிவிட்டனர். அங்கு வேலை செய்யும் இரு பையன்களை துணைக்கு அழைத்துக்கொண்டு இரவு 9.30 க்கு நாங்கள் ( இருவரும் பெண்கள்) அந்த குளிரில் ஹோட்டல் சென்று இட்லியும் தோசையும் வரவழைத்தோம். நேரம் ஆகும் என்பதால் அந்த பையன்களை திரும்ப அனுப்பிவிட்டோம். என் தோழியால் எதையுமே சாப்பிடமுடியவில்லை. பொறுக்க முடியாத அளவுக்கு தலை வலி, வாந்தி. குடித்த பால் கூட தங்கவில்லை. dehydrate ஆகிவிட்டதால் electrol வாங்குவதற்கு ஹோட்டல் காரர்களிடம் இங்கே அருகில் மருந்து கடை இருக்கிறதா என்று கேட்டோம். 15 நிமிட தூரத்தில் இருக்கிறது. ஆனால் இன்று ஞாயிறு. ஆதலால் கடை இருப்பது சந்தேகம். மணி வேறு 10.00 pm ஆகிவிட்டது. போய் வேண்டுமானால் பாருங்கள் என்று கூறி விட்டனர். நானும் என் தோழியும் புது ஊரில் இரவு பத்து மணிக்கு நடுக்கும் குளிரில் தெரியாத ஆள் நடமாட்டமில்லாத சாலையில் மருந்து கடை தேடி போய்க்கொண்டிருக்கிறோம். நடுவில் சாலையோரம் தென்பட்ட இருவரிடம் கடை எங்கு என்று கேட்டதற்கு அவர்களும் இப்போது திறந்திருக்காது. ஞாயிறு வேறு, என்று சொல்லிவிட்டனர். எனக்கு துணை மகாபெரியவா நாமம் மட்டுமே. பெரியவா பெரியவா என்று ஜபித்துக் கொண்டே செல்லச் செல்ல முன்னால் ஒரே ஒரு இடத்திலிருந்து மட்டும் விளக்கொளி. சுற்றிலும் அனைத்து கடைகளும் மூடியிருக்க (ஹரித்வாரில் 8.00 / 8.30 கே குளிரில் அனைத்து கடைகளையும் மூடிவிடுகின்றனர். ஊரே அடங்கி விடுகிறது) அந்த மருந்து கடை மட்டும் வெளிச்சத்தை பாய்ச்சிக்கொண்டு திறந்திருக்கிறது! அதுவும் நாங்கள் எங்கும் உள்ளே தேடி அலைய அவசியமில்லாமல் சாலை ஓரத்திலேயே! பார்த்ததும் உயிர் வந்தது. வேண்டிய மருந்து வாங்கியபின் கடைக்காரர்களிடம் எதனை மணி வரை திறந்திருப்பீர்கள் என்று கேட்டதற்கு 10.00 / 10.15 வரை என்று சொல்லிவிட்டு பிறகு மணி பார்த்தான். 10.15 தாண்டியிருந்தது! எல்லா நாளும் கடை இருக்குமா என்று கேட்டதற்கு இல்லை ஞாயிறு லீவு என்று சொன்னான். அப்போ இன்று எப்படி திறந்திருக்கிறீர்கள் ஞயிராயிற்றே என்று கேட்டதற்கு அவனிடம் பதில் இல்லை. மளுக்கென்று கண்களில் நீர் பெருகியது. மானசீகமாக மகாபெரியவாளின் பாதார விந்தங்களில் தடால் என்று விழுந்து வணங்கினேன். இப்போதும் இந்த க்ஷணமும் பெரியவா கூப்பிட்ட குரலுக்கு வந்து நிற்கிறார். இது சத்தியம்.

This I am wrting about my beloved anna Ganapathi (Shri Ra Ganapathi). Periyava appeared in some one close to Kanchi mutt on the day anna ganapathi turned 60 and asked this gentleman to honor my beloved anna. Anna was presented witha gold ring with blue stone and a shawl. All this happend after Periyava mahasamathi. Anna Ganapathi was very much humbled by this and delighted about always present mahaperiyava. May mahaperiyava bless all. He is here with us in and around us, Only we need to open our hearts.
Hari Om, It was in 1996 & was visiting India & wished to pay a visit to Sri Maha Periyava’s Aathishtanam, few days before going to Kanchipuram, I was standing in a petty shop, reading a article about Sri Periyava, in which a couple was waiting for His Darshan & HH doing his Japam, once he finished, the couple did their Namaskarams, Sri Periyava adviced them not to do Namaskaram facing south direction etc & so on & so forth. Days passed & I forgot about the incident. I reached Sri Maha Periyava’s Aathishtanam ,with mixed feelings etc that I am going to miss His Dashan & immediately went about in doing Danda Pranamam to Sri Maha Periyava’s Brindavanam, Suddenly, a Lady seated in front of HH in meditation, opened her eyes stopped me doing namaskaram, saying that I should not do namaskaram facing southern direction and closed her eyes & nearby sastrigal was doing morning poojas. I was spellbounded & shocked to hear those words from the Lady. Immediately, I realised HH Presence in the Brindavanam & His Grace is there for us & felt at ease with my anxieties,sorrow etc Sri Maha Periyaval is always amongst us & showering His Blessings on us. i have always been telling that periava is there and he comes when you call and when you surrender and tell him something he does it. i know it in my everyday life, even though my son admonishes me that i call him for very small ailments like stomach pain, i do touch my stomach saying oh periava why this trouble and lo the pain goes and i sleep as if i am on his lap. if you are not able to see Him go to adhistanam, just have a darshan after asking harimani or seguppu mama there to tell your wish in his ears and see how you get, how you feel solace, and what amount of peace. this is truth and nothing but truth. even last week i went there( I was praying that i must visit inspite of my being not too well)and had His darshan. to be very honest just feel HIM dont ask for but He knows what you require and you are granted. He is always before me. n.ramaswami

One more incident to prove that Sri Sri Maha Periyava is still blessings us from unknown place. His knowledge about anything and everything is beyond our imagination. Mr. Mahesh , his blessed child, is kind enough to share all the incidents known to him. Waiting for more such things. I too hope that one day Sri Sri maha Periyava will come in my dream and bless us. Definitely he will be our guiding source for the future.

Iam very well aware as to How Mahaperiyava would bless in one’s dreams as one having been recipient of His blessings and Uttaravu so many times.Even before His Mahasamadhi He gave an indication that He was about to depart in my dreams on January4th,1994.Similarly on so many occasions He had given blessings and Mantropadesha also.To the vast multitude He was one among their kith and kin taking care of their yogaskshema
I agree with Sundar in totality. I too had experiences of Periyava appearing in dreams and instructing, both while he was in body and post 1994 Samadhi. His mind and soul seems to be living till date….. even as Sri Raghavendra, Sai Baba and other great saints who have come down to take out our karma and show us the path of liberation. Short of words…. Simply surrender at Periyava’s lotus feet.

hai geeta, I’ve tried my best to translate this being the first one. Hope u can enjoy and get HIS blessings. Sorry, i couldnt translate the Appar Swami’s verse.
Maha Periyava was giving darshan in Kanchipuram Mutt. There were some bhakthas and I went to a corner and prostrated HIM. He turned and ordered “Ask him to send Rs. 1387/- every month for a year to Puna Krsihnamurthy as his expenses for paper, stamps and postage charges are increasing”.
I could not understand immediately as I was tense. HE repeated “Puna Krishnamurthy” twice and “send Rs. 1387/”
I obliged but could not tell him even yes. I just bowed many times and HE blessed me raising his two hands. Heard some sound and opened my eyes, I realized that all that happened was in a dream. It was 4.30 am on 15/10 2012 – Monday.
I just remembered Sivan Sir’s words “ You can see anybody in a dream. But if you want to see my ANNA, HE himself should give a darshan. So if Periyava comes in a dream, it means HE had come personally and should do what HE had asked to do”.
I was puzzled of not knowing what to do. It was 6 o’ clock. I was confused how to find that Puna Krishnamurthy and it is Periyava’s order and should be obliged. Then I thought of asking Sivaraman. When I called him he said he’ll get back to me in 5 minutes. As said he called me again, “ Aaruran, Periyava Vaaku sathyam! As you asked there’s one Puna Krishnamurthy in Kanchipuram. He and his wife reside in Veda Bhavanam in Lingappa street. He’s 90 years. He had served Periyava a lot during Satara Yatra. With the instruction from Periyava, he’s conducting Veda Parayanam in the Mutt. Regarding that many people writes to him…. Take down his address and phone number. I’ve already spoken to him. Don’t forget to send money through money order today itself”
Within 10 minutes all details were available.
My wife : “Take bath and keep the money in Periyava’s Paduka and continue with the work.”
I was gazing at Maha Periyava’s photo. It was like Periyava asking me kindly “ Periyava’s order. Were you worried how am I to search that Puna Krishnamuthy in this jana samudram ?”
Prayed and went to the post office and sent the money to Puna Krishnamurthy Sastrigal. I was relaxed that I’ve done what Periyava told but my conscience was asking me “ What’s that Rs. 1387?” My mind could not find an answer to this. After some time I remembered an old incident.
In 1990 I was helping Sri Karyam Neelakanta Mama. That time Shri Chandramouli Mama came and told me “ Periyava uttharavu aagiradhu” (you are called by Periyava)
“Mama, Periyava doesn’t know me. HE knows only my grandfather and father. Are you sure HE called me?
Mama replied, “I’m serving Periyava for a long time. Will I not understand properly? HE called you only” and took me to Periyava.
Interesting story begins now :
Anukkathondar: “ Thiruvalur Auditor Venkatramaiyar grandson is here”
SRIMAHAPERIYAVA: “Is he? Ask him whether he can donate me Rs. 10000/-!“
Anukkathondar: “Can you give him Rs. 10000/?”
Aaruran(myself): “ I don’t have money. I’ll ask my father”
Anukkathondar: “He’s studying so he has to ask his father and get it”
SRIMAHAPERIYAVA: “ What’s he studying?”
Anukkathondar: “C A” (he told by himself)
SRIMAHAPERIYAVA: “Why is he doing CA?”
(He did not understand the question and MAHAPERIYAVA answers HIMSELF)
SRIMAHAPERIYAVA: “His grandfather was a leading auditor but did not do CA only practitioner. His father is also an auditor , Tax Advocate. When they both became auditors without doing CA, what’s he going to do studying CA?” (silence….) “ok, ask him when he would finish?
Anukkathondar to me: “ When will you finish?”
(That time I was struggling to finish CA Intermediate)
When he asked I was about to cry.
Aaruran: I don’t know when I’ll finish. Its very difficult… If Periyava blesses I’ll surely pass”
SRIMAHAPERIYAVA: In that case, will he pass in 4 years?
Aaruran: (with tears) I’ll pass in 4 years
SRIMAHAPERIYAVA: “ Then OK, after you pass bring me Rs. 10000/”
After this incident, I was with SIVAN SIR, he took care of me like a mother and encouraged me to study. Exactly after 4 years I completed my CA … But I could not give the money as PERIYAVA said. Because HE attained siddhi in Jan 1994.
I was just recollecting the past and looking at HIS photo.
“The simple interest for RS. 10000/ for 22 odd years with 3% rate comes around 6650 and along with the principal amount Rs. 10000/, its 16550/ and when divided for 12 months it comes Rs. 1387/”
Dumbfounded and overwhelmed by emotitons which cannot be described in words. He is always there to guide us and bless us. Parameswaran Mahaperiyavalin Thiruvadigalae Saranam. Thanks Mr. Mahesh once again for this.
