    • The above article in praise of this great couple, that too with the divine ‘manam’ of sanskrit words is a nectar to read. If we read ‘Deivatin Kural’ we can easily learn many Sanskrit words because Mahaperiyava beautifully explains here and there about the pronunciation . This helped me a lot to learn a bit. Shri Krishnamoorthy mama who taught us some vedic matras said that this is the correct pronunciation: GHANAPATIGAL. (not ganabadigal – not ba it should be pa and also not di it should be ti). Let us try to at least pronounce this holy word properly .

    I had the opprotunity of attending the function here at chennai.Sri Ganapadigals son Sri Krishnamurty sastrigal is also a scholar and he was holding the post of Princiapl in Sanskrit college chennai and he is also contributing a lot for Veda samrakshanam and he has made 15 vidyarthis to excel in sankrit and they are to be honoured on the 15th of october by Kanchi madathipathis. What a great service for veda samrakshanm and he has may sishyas too and is willing to teach veda to anyonme who is interested.
