  1. I have read that Sri Chandrasekhara Bharathi Maha Swamigal of Sringeri, Great Jeevanmukhtha, used to perform Sri Nrisimha Jayanthi Pooja by Himself with great sanctity and used to perform Deeparadhana to Lord Nrisimha exactly at Pradosha Kaalam, as Lord Nrisimha manifested Himself at that hour. Manthrarajapatha Stothram, a great hymn sang by Lord Siva, the Sarvagna, in praise of Lord Nrisimha is capable of warding of all evils and give all that is good to the devotee. Indeed Hariyum Sivanum Onnu! Maha Periyaval ThiruvadigaLe SaraNam!

  2. right. That is why our forefathers said “Ariyum shivanum onnu; ariyadhavan vayil mannu”, means Shri Hari and Shri Shiva are from the same Brahman only, those who do not know this thing argue waste which is useless like the ‘sand’. We can see temples like ‘Sankaranayinar koil’ where half portions of Shri Shiva & Vishnu formed one moorthy called ‘Sankaranarayanar’.

  3. Devotion to any GOD whether it is Siva or Vishnu is not at all a problem, what is most needed and Important is sincere faith with total surrender to The GOD is a must,.,just like sincere faith of Markandeya to Lord Siva and utter faith of Prahaladha to Lord Vishnu .Never keep any sort of differenciation with Siva or Vishnu. It is strong faith and belief of elders “”Siva is in the heart of Vishnu, and Vishnu is in the heart of Vishnu”, GOD is like medicine to the Patient.,if you are not using the medicine, the ailment will remain as it is,Once you begin to chant the name of Vishnu or Siva ,they will take care of you and keep them as a float for our Bhava Sagara Tharanam.
