  2. Though, I do possess many, it is a rare one, which I came to know through Mr. Mahesh. Thank my dear.

  3. Usha-
I faintly remember the place where the picture was taken as Satara where Mahaperiyava had camped.Pl correct me if I am wrong. You are really making us feel that He is still with us with each article/photo of Periyava.

  4. During these days, many so called ‘Sanyasins’ watch cricket match in TV like kids – Mahaswami, used his time in anushtanams like Sandhyavandhanam, Devatha Aradhanam, Guru Pujas, Counseling the devotees for their problems, bringing faith to the poor and unfortunate, helping widows, children & physically handicapped, touring the length and breadth of the Nation to preserve the Sanathana Dharma against the conversion mafias. Protecting old art & architecture by holding various vidwat sadas and ‘Rama Naama Japa’ yagyas. Empowering women by banishing the ‘Vara Dhakshina’, so many so many great deeds. The epitome of a guru, the charm in his face, the Tejaswi Bhooyasam of his appearance, his devote & chaste life of an austere ‘sanyasin’, an able administrator and a good Acharya. No wonder, Mahaswami or Paramacharya befits only him. One can ‘feel’ the aura around him even from his photos, what to say of the countless devotee’s personal faith & experience. The world will have to do great ‘TAPAS’ to again have any visit by such great stalwarts. Hari OM.
