Noble Souls Not to be forgotten – Meela Adimai Sri Pradosham Mama

The contemporary community of Sri Mahaperiyava Devotees should not forget some noble souls, the foremost among them being Sri Pradosham Mama. He used to call himself  ‘Meela Adimai’ [irredeemable slave]. This noble soul would have turned 99 years this Aippasi Revathy, that just passed by us last Wednesday, Nov 13. Incidentally that day was also a Pradosham Day. Not only he showed to the world, that Sri Mahaperiyava is verily an avataram of Shambu, but also stood testimony to the fact that the stories of 63 Nayanmars are very much REAL, in as much as he himself was recognized as the extension of the Nayanmar Lineage as 64th Nayanmar by none other than Sri Mahaperiyava Himself. He sowed the seed for the present day Orikkai Manimandapam, that stands tall with all its majesty, but did not live long to see its completion. He created many Bhakta circles, that have expanded far and wide today. He demonstrated what Bhakti is and showed us that his devotion is no less intense than that of other Nayanmars.

In 2016, Sri Mahaperiyava directly instructs (in His subtle form) to narrate the Divya Charithram of Sri Pradosham Mama in the next monthly Satsangam at Cupertino. Mahesh shared Sri Pradosham Mama book. Meela Adimai’s divya charithram was discoursed in the next Satsangam. It was a thrilling episode to recount, and it can be heard here.
