SRI BHAGAVANNAMA BODHENDRA SARASWATHI SWAMIGAL was the 59th pontiff of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam and is considered to be one of the trinities who established Nama Sangeertanam along with Sri Sridhara Venkatesa Ayyaval and Sri Marudhanallur Sadhguru Swamigal . The Jeeva Samadhi of Bodhendral is located at the Mutt’s premises at Govindapuram by the bank of Cauvery river. The Aradhana of Swamigal is celebrated in the month of Avani/Purattasi (September/October) for about two weeks every year. The maha-aradhanai occurs on the dwadasi thithi of Mahalaya paksham.
His Aaradhana Celebrations are still going on in Govindapuram (Near Kumbakonam) from Sep 17 to Sep 30. Time and again it proves that only such Avatara Purushas and Yatis (Sanyasis) come the succor of suffering humanity. Knowing the Divya Charithams of such Acharyas is of paramount importance for us to repose our faith in our own Dharma. What prathi-upakaram we can do such Acharyas, other than just prostrating to them?

Jayanthi in sanskrit means Birthday of noble!
Aradhana means Siddhi day!
On attaining siddhi needless to say all the devotees/ followers experience grief!
How come the Aradhana day suddenly become celebrative day? Truly illogical!
Can anyone sensibly stop priting aradhana mahotsav?
Utsav means festival!
Maha utsav means grand festival!
Are people started rejoicing and started aradhana day as festival day?
Absurd!

Sometimes, without understanding the nuance of the word, expressing your views in this way shows your ignorance on the subject. Ignorance is not wrong, but instead of attempting to remove the ignorance, you have attempted to comment with your least understanding of the word or the occasion for that matter. You could have asked in a better and pleased manner, instead.
Aradhana Day is a day of remembrance and devotion to a Sage or spiritual leader, celebrated through prayer, meditation, and reflection. A day is spent fully with devotion to remember Him throughout the day. That is how you can show your reverence to the Sages. By this, the next generation would get a chance to know about the Sages and follow their prescribed path for one’s self-wisdom and salvation (Moksha).
On general people’s death day, we mourn and give Shraddham, but for Sages, we celebrate as Aaradhana for self and others’ sake.
In the spiritual path, please don’t see the logic, but try to find the nuance of the meaning spoken/written.
If you encounter any doubts with such terms, please ask the elders or the Vedic Pandits, instead of throwing such futile comments.

Shraddha is being performed NOT ONLY for general category as you mentioned BUT ALSO for noble/ sanyasi by their purvashrama descendents at their home.
Sishya varga to conduct Aradhana on siddhi day.
Bandu varga to conduct Tirtha narayana puja.
There is elaborate procedure of tirtha narayana puja available as to how to conduct these.

Do not jump into conclusion that you are belonging to elite creamy class of intellectual pinnacle who sails through meaning, interpretation , interpolation, extrapolation, nuances and to treat rest all others as scum bags.
Please pull up your socks and wear the glass of unified and catholic outlook as mentioned by our Maha periyava.

BCS, I lost hope on 99% so called Vedic pundits.
They fell for the money and doing pleasing job for many apātra!
I am in Chennai.
Come what may … Mahaperiyava instructed clearly NOT to perform Upanayanam, Sadabhishekam & new temple consecration.
These are to be performed only during Uttrayanam.
Come to Chennai.
You will witness all the three dakshinaya forbidden Vedic activities are being officiated by your dear pious Vedic pundits!
I Pity mahaperiyava for instilling faith on these downtrodden people.
BCS… With the kind of outer exposure, expertise, experience anyone can refer the Vedic pundits atrocities who mainly surpass / transcend the stipulation of scriptural injunctions & more importantly instructions of mahaperiyava.

You know BCS, there are many fields which adopt soft & strong dosage.
In fire fighting, low pressure water hose for small fire. Obviously you know high pressure water hose for large fire.
In cooking low heat for delicate dishes. By now you conclude high heat for tough dishes.
In the sports, light workout for beginner athlete. You are great if you concluded as high intensity workout for advanced athletes.
Over the counter OTC drugs for small illness whereas you know
High dosage sterile drugs for terminal diseases.
By this logic, the violators of guruvani/ sastra to be strongly condemned and vehemently opposed.

BCS sir is not incorrect. Aradhana day doesn’t have to be sad there are hardly 7-8 atmas who escaped death though many have attained purnatvam . These are not vaidhika karmas so no harm and these are moments for us to smaran those glorious saints so that we may get inspired .
bCS sir experience with vaidhikas has been good which is effect of his good karma. Yours is not so it’s effect of your bad karma. What can he do? I will suggest one thing which may help you since you poured your heart out . Accept your experience in tranquility. Slowly if not in this lifetime but some lifetime you will reap as good experience

I was thinking to respond his comments after he responded to me…. He did not realize what he is writing, nor any sign of jijñāsā in his writing, but pin pointing more mistakes on society and some community in particular. What can be shared and tell some one who hates to know but only judgemental and prejudice on a few people? Hence I just kept mum for his comments.
