With Sri Periyavas’ anugraham and with the blessings of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peeṭadhipati, His Holiness, Jagadguru Pujyasri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal, Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankara Śukla Panchami Pooja initiative has commenced from last Shankara Jayanthi with a sankalpam to perform a short pooja and Shankara stuti parayanam on Shukla panchami days at a convenient time. As you would notice, the plan is to do parayanam of one composition of Adi Shankara each month. This month its Lalitha Pancharatna Stotram. As the name indicates it has 5 shlokas and 1 phalashruthi. It is in the form of Prathasmaranam – Remembering Amba in the morning as the first thing after waking up. Its an easy shloka to commit to memory.
