  2. Shri Ramanan, thanks for sharing. Very touching & inspiring.

  3. Dear Madam,

Namaskarams. Thanks for posting this upadesam by Sri Periyava.
I recollect one incident read related to this upadesam… Once, a highly well to do and afflent person, during the darshan told Sri Periyava, that his business (catering service) is going very well and doing ‘ annadhanam’ few hundred vidhyarthis (students) every year. Sri Periyava, heard this and did not respond. Later, a noble lady (Not so affluent by money to do annadhanam of scale of first person, runs a small eatery and makes her famil’s livelyhood) who is a devotee, comes to Him most of teh days, came and offered her Namaskarams. Sri Periyava said, she is doing ‘ annadhanam’ for 1000 everyday. Both the madam, sir and people around were spell bound and shocked. Then, Sri Periyava looked at madam and asked her, whether she is not serving a ‘ ‘handfull of rice to ants’, after finisihng her every day cooking?, will it not serve for 1000?… Madam was surprised by how Sri Periyava knows about this and agreed with tears rolling down on her cheek.
Sri Periyava’s advise from this naration is, every one of us can do annadhanam everyday for few hundreds based on our resources to lives (it could be human or ants).

    Om Namo Bagawathe SRi RAMANAYAH
