  1. Thiagu Mama talks about the picture of Pujya sri. Mahaperiyava in Mudikondan Vanchi Mama’s house. We have visited that village and also sri. Vanchi Mama’s house several times. Whenever we visited Mudikondan, my mother always made us do namaskaram to that picture.

I talked to her this week about who drew the picture. She did not know who drew the picture, but she always talks about the greatness of the picture. Pujya Sri. Mahaperiyava stayed in Mudikondan when my mother was a little girl, for quite some time. His Holiness even performed Vyasa puja in that village. Periyava used to visit neighboring villages often and then come back to Mudikondan camp. His Holiness physical body will not show any signs of exhaustion.

The picture used to sweat on several occasions. People used to fan (hand “visiri”) the picture on those occasions. My mother always said that Pujya Periyavaa changed the lives of several families during His stay in Mudikondan.
