In my child-hood days 1960-70s, such arrangements were made in our Kallidaikurichi Kanva Lingam Shri Maanendiaapar temple . My sisters and myself recited the verses and got prizes. I remember having received திருக்குறள் தெளிவுரை ‘Thirukkural Thelivurai’ book .
