Rare pictures of Swamigals at Swarajya Press, Secunderabad in 1968

Swamigal used to stay in Swarajya Press in 1968 belonging to Shri Gowtha Manoharan in Padmarao Nagar, Secunderabad. I was blessed to visit that place three weeks back on the way to Skandagiri Shankara Matam when I was thrilled to have been given a book in Telugu chronicling His visits to the Press. The book contains a treasure trove of rare pictures. Here are some!

    • Thanks Mr. Suresh. I remember everyday going to Swarajya press, Malkajigiri, Uppal ( Penquin textiles) with Ra. Ganapathi anna by bus, walk some distance in the night so that we can have viswaroopa darshanam. I also remember Sri Manoharji ‘s amazing bhakthi and hosting leadership at secunderabad. But for him and others we would have never got such grace. I have a photo of Periyava entering city from vijayawada at Malakpet ( city border) which came in local paper . It took 5 hours for him to walk the distance of 9 KM such was the reception to him by all the local people which Includes every ethnic group who are settled in Hyderabad. Our sukrutham and Punyam .

  8. Sir, Please forward the only three hour and a little more interview which I am unable to see anywhere else. Excuse me for the trouble. I appreciate the great work done by you. It is so good to read about Mahaperiyava again and again. Srinivasan
