Children Cultural Training Camp at Kanchipuram — Jan 5th and 6th 2013

Established Under the aegis of Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, Kanchipuram

With the blessings of Their Holinesses Pujyasri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamiji and Pujyasri SankaraVijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamiji, Cultural Training Camp(CTC’2013) is being organized at Kanchipuram on 5 & 6 January 2013 (Saturday and Sunday).

The YUVA camp for Boys (Brahmacharis) will include sessions on Sandyavandanam, Surya Namaskaram, Brahmayagnyam, Parishechana Mantras, Srirudram, Chamakam, Panchayatana Puja, Shiva-Vishnu Stories, Vishnu Sahasranama and Bhajans on day 1. Day 2 sessions include Prashnotraratnamala, Meanings of Sutras, Shastra-sampradayas, Stories from the Vedas

The YUVATI camp for Girls will include sessions on Vratangal and Argya Slokangal, Sarvajana Sarva Devata Stotram, Adityahrudayam, ‘Shri Bhagavadpadarum Shanmatangalum’, Andrada Samayalil Ayurvedam, Samskaras and festivals, Vishnushahasranamam and Bhajans on Day 1. Day 2 sessions include Stri Dharmangal, Lakshmi Saraswati Ashtotra, Lalitha Sahasranamam, Swami Pushkarini Sloka, Kashi-Rameswara Kshetratana Mahima and procedure, Pooja Vidhis – Vinayaka Chaturti, Tulasi Puja, Vilakku Puja and Kanya Puja.

  2. It is a very Divine service, especially in these days where our traditional culture has been thrown to the winds. I have a request. Why can’t a similar camp be organized for elders also who have not been practising all these Anushtaanams and vrathams?
