“Another detail: in the thennan keethu leaves you can see the script Rama in devanagari. The Malli poo was drawn from real flowers. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to share. Never shared the details so far. There was a foreigner who came the Mutt when we were showing it there, who said: Did you notice the stern look of a teacher in His eyes?”
“Immediately after His darshan, we took this painting to Shri Aangarai Periyava in Triplicane(Shri Kalyanarama sastrigal) who was our teacher since decades, who inculcated the devotion in Srimad Bhagavatha in our family. He had also performed the saptaham thrice in our home. He was in the first floor, (he had taken sanyasam directly under Periyava. He performed parayanam exclusively to mahaperiyava. Now he was Govinda Damodara swamigal) When he had blessed us, We took the painting. He followed us down and saw Periva off. When asked why he climbed down the steps, he replied : Sakshath Raman na?! ‘ Can’t ever forget this from a great soul. Expands our realization of Periyava.”
“This is the detail of the Paramacharya’s hand. To the right in the savukku kambu, you can see the picture of Lakshmi.”

it is wonderful to get recollections. i have been with periava in such a place with keethukottagai but has never obseved rama or lakshmi, probably because i was seeing all those only in him and in his paada. n.ramaswami
Maha Periyaval’s look speaks a lot as he is the embodiment of Adi Sankara.
Hara Hara Sankara,
Jaya Jaya Sankara.
Really wonderful to watch and it gives a feeling of watching an existence of a living God
