இன்று எனக்கு புனேயில் 84 வயது மற்றும் 79 வயது இளமையான ஶ்ரீ ராமு மாமா மற்றும் அவரது தர்மபத்னியை சந்திக்கும் பாக்கியம் கிட்டியது. புனேயில் உள்ள காஞ்சி காமகோடி மடம் மற்றும் வேத பாடசாலை இவர்கள் பொறுப்பில் உள்ளது.
மாமாவுக்கு வீடியோ எடுப்பதில் ஆர்வமில்லை. காரணம் இன்றுவரை அவரைப் பொறுத்தவரை எல்லாவற்றையும் நடத்தி வைப்பது ஶ்ரீஶ்ரீ மஹாஸ்வாமி, புதுப்பெரியவா மற்றும் பாலபெரியவா என்ற தீவிர நம்பிக்கைதான். என்னிடம் புனேயில் சங்கர ஆலயம் கட்டியதன் பின்னணியைப் பகிர்ந்துகொண்டார். என்னால் முடிந்தவரை கிரஹித்துக் கொண்டு இப்போது உங்களுடன் இந்தப் பதிவு மூலம் பகிர்ந்துகொள்கிறேன்.
அந்த நாட்களில் மாமாவுக்கு மடம் மற்றும் ஆசாரியர்களைப் பற்றி அவ்வளவாகத் தெரியாது. அப்போது மஹாஸ்வாமிகள் சதாரா அருகே முகாம். புதுப் பெரியவாளும் வந்து கொண்டிருந்தார். ஆலயம் கட்டுவதன் தொடர்பில் ஒரு குழு இருந்தது. மாமாவின் பூர்வஜன்ம புண்ணியம் அந்தக் குழுவில் அவரும் ஒருவராக இருந்தார்.
ஆதி ஆசார்யாள் மற்றும் அவரது சீடர்களின் விக்ரஹங்கள் புனேயில் கேட்பாரற்ற நிலையில் இருந்தன.
இந்த விக்ரஹங்களை ஒரு கோவிலில் வைத்து கவனித்துக் கொள்ளவேண்டும் என்பது மஹாபெரியவாளின் சங்கல்பம்.
அங்கு ஏதாவது ஒரு கோவிலில் இந்த விக்ரஹங்களை வைக்க எடுத்த முயற்சிகள் எல்லாம் வீணாகப் போயின. யாரும் அதற்கு ஒப்புக்கொள்ளவில்லை. அந்த சமயம் ஒரு சந்திப்பில் மஹாபெரியவா ராமு மாமாவிடம் “உன் சம்பளம் என்ன? ” என்று கேட்டார். “6000 ரூபாய்.”. உடனே இந்த சம்பளத்தில் கோவில் கட்ட முடியுமா என்று அடுத்த கேள்வி கேட்டார் மஹாபெரியவா.
“நிச்சயம் முடியாது ஆனால் உங்கள் அனுக்ரஹத்தால் முடியும்” என்று சொல்லி இருக்கிறார்.
மஹாபெரியவா சங்கல்பத்துடனும் அனுக்ரஹத்துடனும் ஆலய உருவான விதம் இதோ!
நிறைய இடங்கள் பற்றி தகவல்கள் வந்தாலும் அவற்றை ஒதுக்கி விட்டு தற்போது கோவில் உள்ள இடத்தைப் பற்றி ராமு மாமாவிடம் விசாரிக்கச் சொல்லி இருக்கிறார் மஹாபெரியவா. மிகுந்த முயற்சிக்குப் பின் கோவிலுக்கு அந்த இடம் கிடைத்தது. நிலம் பத்திரப்பதிவுக்கு முன்னரே புதுப்பெரியவா பூமி பூஜைக்கு வேதபண்டிதர்களை அனுப்பி விட்டார். அனைவரும் பத்திரப் பதிவுக்கே இன்னும் ஒரு வருடம் ஆகுமே இப்போதே பூமி பூஜையா என்று கேலி செய்தனர். யாரும் எதிர்பாராத வகையில் ஒரே நாளில் பத்திரப்பதிவு நடந்து புதுப்பெரியவா தீர்மானித்த நாளில் பூமி பூஜையும் நடந்தது.
முதலில் ஆதி ஆச்சார்யாள் மற்றும் அவரது சீடர்களின் விக்ரஹங்கள் உயர்ந்த பீடத்தில் வைக்கப்பட்டன. மஹாஸ்வாமிகள் பூஸ்பர்ஸம் தேவை என்றார். அவர் வழிகாட்டுதலின் பேரில் பூமியையும் பீடத்தையும் இணக்கும் இடத்தில் ஆதி ஆச்சார்யாளின் பாதுகைகள் வைக்கப்பட்டன.
அன்று முதல் சிறிது சிறிதாக வளர்ந்து ஒவ்வொரு கும்பாபிஷேகத்தின் போதும் பல சன்னதிகள் சேர்க்கப்பட்டு தற்போது உள்ள நிலைக்கு கோவில் வந்துள்ளது. மஹாஸ்வாமிகள் உத்தரவின்படி ரிக்வேத பாடசாலையும் இங்கு உள்ளது.
இந்த வயதிலும் மாமா மாமி தவறாமல் இங்கு வந்து மடத்தின் நடவடிக்கைகளை பார்த்துக் கொண்டு இருக்கின்றனர். சுயநலம் இல்லாமல் தொண்டு செய்யும் இந்த தம்பதிகளுக்கு எங்கள் மனமார்ந்த நமஸ்காரங்கள்.
புனே சங்கரமடம் மற்றும் ரிக் வேத பாடசாலையை பார்க்கும் பாக்கியம் கிட்டியது அவர் அனுக்ரஹமே.

Today met Shri.Ramu Mama, and Mami who are just 84 Years and 79 Years young, are taking care of the Kanchi Kamakoti Mutt and Veda Patasaala at Pune.
Mama was not for taking any video as he strongly believes that everything was done by Sri Sri Mahaswami, Pudu Periyavaa and Shri Bala Periyavaa till today. He shared to me the history behind the inception of the Shankara Temple at Pune. I am just reproducing what best I could grasp from his speech.
It was a time when Mama had no clue about Kanchi Mutt and the Acharyaas. Mahaswamigal was camping at Satara. Pudu Periyavaa was also on the way to Pune and there was a committee formed for this purpose. It was mama Poorva janma sukrutham that he was part of that committee.
The Vigraham of Adhi Acharyaal along with his Shishyaas were there at Pune which was originally brought from Jaipur, but was almost in a neglected condition.
It was Mahaperiyavaa sankalpam to keep these vigraham in some temple and proper care be taken.
At that time efforts were made to keep the vigraham at any of the temples, unfortunately no one agreed to that. At this time during one of the visits Mahaperiyavaa asked Ramu Mama – what is ur salary ? He said 6000 rupees. Then Mahaperiyavaa asked with that salary is it possible to build temple ?
Ramu mama said not possible periyavaa but with ur Anugraham it is possible…
With Mahaperiyavaa Sankalpam and Anugraham the Temple came up and this is how it all happened…
Many other places was selected but Mahaswamigal kept on rejecting all the places. Then He called Shri. Ramu Mama and asked him to look for the current location. With tremendous efforts from Shri.Ramu Mama the place was allotted for the Temple. Even before the land was registered, Pudu Periyavaa sent vedic scholars for bhoomi pooja. Every one was making fun and saying that it will take nearly one year for the land to get registered in their name and now itself they want to do the bhoomi pooja. To the utter disbelief of all, the registration was completed in one day and the bhoomi pooja happened as planned by Pudu Periyavaa.
Initially only the Adhi Acharyaal along with his four shishyaas were kept in a higher platform. Mahaswamigal then ordered to have Bhoo Sparisam. On his direction then Adhi Acharyaal padhuka was placed on the ground connecting to the higher platform.
From thereon the temple grew from time to time with each kumbhabhishekam having added each sannidhi to the current shape.
Rig Veda Patasaala as advocated by Mahaswamigal is also running here.
Mama and Mami at this age regularly visit and take care of the mutt activites.
