Vedic scholars were honoured during Shraddhanjali on January 8
The main hall of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan resonated with Veda Parayanam for an hour, setting the tone for a three-hour function, which was organised to pay homage to Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati, 68th head of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Pitam, on his 25th Aradhana Day. Veda Pata Nidhi Trust and the Bhavan had joined hands to offer this annual tribute to the Sage of Kanchi, an affair dictated by nothing but bhakti for Mahaswami and his doctrines.
