From our 2016-17 funds we raised, we will be supporting Melattur patasala by procuring groceries for them for few months….Melattur is near Thanjavur. In my recent trip, I was hoping that I would have some time to visit but was not blessed to go there….The vidyapakar here had studied under Brahmasri Mullaivasal Ganapadigal mama and managing this patasala very nicely. I believe there are about 40 vidyarthis studying here. Both Sri Chandramouli and Sri Halasya Sundaram Iyer know this place well. On behalf of all donors of KGF, I am glad that Mahaperiyava had given an opportunity for us to do such kainkaryam.
My sincere thanks to all donors of KGF. Our special thanks to Sri Sundaram for taking responsibility to work with the patasala, making frequent trips to Melattur to make this happen. His commitment and passion in veda rakshanam is beyond words.
