Pradosham Special – Unique Rotating Sivalingam and Aavudai

Jaya Jaya Shankara Hara Hara Shankara – Happy Pradosham to all. Let me explain a bit about these video clips taken in both day and night for a total of 2 minutes. The Sivan temple near Kanchi Mahaswami Mandapam has a ceiling with a Siva Lingam drawing on it. The unique thing about it is, when you look up at this Sivalingam and start doing Pradakshinam under it (circumambulate) both the Sivalingam as well the Aavudai (base) in the ceiling moves along with you (it seems that way). Not sure of it is clearly captured in the following videos but one can certainly enjoy this experience in person. A very unique architectural brilliance!
