In the footsteps of Sankara – Illustrated Weekly 1981

First, my sincere thanks to Shri Kannan mama from Ambathur, who contacted me about this rare book that he has been preserving for a long time and handed over to me by personally coming to my place during my stay in India. My sincere thanks to you, mama….

The article was written by Shri R.G.K. Although these initials seem familiar, I am not sure about the author. However, his/her English is absolutely classy – rich choices of words and very carefully written to ensure there is not a slip while writing about Periyava. After reading such a great editorial English, I can see how much of an insult I do to public writing !!
Also the Queen’s experience (“Visit to the Sage”)  in her own words is so real – it is always interesting to westerner’s observation of our culture, environment etc – she has done a great job of narrating them so precisely.
