I am extremely sad to let you all know that Sri Sankaran Sastrigal, son of Sri Salem Ravi mama and sishya of Musiri Dikshitar died of a massive heart attack in Bilaspur. Apparently, he went there to attend a Maha Rudram event. As many know Sri Bilaspur Swamigal is very close to their family and often stays there for chaturmasyam etc. Many Periyava devotees know him through his devotion for Periyava and his wide contacts in social media also sharing lot of messages on sanatana dharma etc.
It is devastating to see young Veda pundits facing a sudden end. No one can I shine what the family is going through at this time. We all pray Periyava to give lot of strength for the grieving family members and bless the departed soul.
