One has to wonder what benefit we will get out of all the Veda Mantras and Vaideeka Karmas when we see all the leather products (like shoes, slippers, etc.) scattered around marriage/upanayanam dais along with our leather products like handbags, pouches, wallets, watch straps, belts, etc. There are many eco-friendly substitutes available. Let’s consider using those instead.
Note – It is not advisable to give raw rice or cooked rice directly to Gho Matha. Jaggery should not be given more than a small piece. Rice should be crushed and given. If you do not have Cow traffic in your area there are many Gosalas doing it; they can help do it for us. Ram Ram
