”பக்கத்து வீட்டார்களோடு வந்தேன்”

”இப்போது அவர்கள் இருக்கிறார்களா?”

”நாழியாகிவிட்டது என்று அவர்கள் போய் விட்டார்கள்”

அதைக் கேட்டுவிட்டு பூஜைக்கு நேரமானதால் பொஜை செய்யச் சென்று விட்டார்கள். பூஜை முடிந்ததும், எல்லாருக்கும் தரிசனம் கொடுக்கும்போது,

அந்தப் பெண்ணை அழைத்து, ”நாற்பத்தைந்து நாளைக்கு துளஸிமாடத்துக்கு நெய் விளக்கேற்றி, ப்ரதக்ஷிணம் செய்து கொண்டு வா” என்று உத்தரவிட்டார்கள்.

பிறகு அங்கு தரிசனத்துக்கு வந்திருந்த கன்னிவாடி ஜமீந்தாரிடம் ”இந்தப் பெண்ணை அவர்கள் வீட்டில் பத்திரமாகக் கொண்டு விட்டு விடு” என்றார்கள். அவரும் அப்படியே செய்தார்.

ஒன்றரை மாசம் கழித்து ஒரு நாள் அந்தப் பெண் கணவருடன் வந்திருந்தாள். என்னைப் பார்த்ததும் ”இதே மாமாதான் ” என்று தன் கணவனுக்கு அறிமுகம் செய்து வைத்தாள். அவள் வேண்டுகோளுக்கு ஏற்ப நான் அன்று நடந்ததை அவள் கணவரிடம் எடுத்துச் சொன்னேன்.

கடைசியில் அந்தப் பெண்(அப்போது 25 வயதுதான் இருக்கும்) சொன்னாள் ” நாங்கள் இத்தனை நாள் பிரிந்து இருந்தோம். எனக்கும் நல்ல காலம் பிறக்குமா என்று ஏங்கித்தான் பெரியவா தரிசனத்துக்கு வந்தேன்; அவர் அனுக்ரஹந்தான் இன்றைக்கு அவருடன் சேர்ந்து வந்திருக்கிறேன் ” என உருக்கத்தோடு சொன்னாள்.

இரண்டு குழந்தைகளோடு தற்போது ஸௌக்யமாக இருப்பதாகக் கேள்வி.

இதனை தில்லை நாதன் என்பவர், சென்னையைச் சேர்ந்தவர் ‘தரிசன அனுபவங்கள் நாலாம் தொகுதியில் நம்முடன் பகிர்ந்து கொள்கிறார்.

Once, Periyava was observing Chaaturmaasyam at a place called Vaanagaram near Chennai. I used to go there daily from Villivakkam and take His Darshan

One day, a lady was standing a little away from Periyava Sannithi and chanting some shlokam

Periyava called me and said, “Ask that lady if she is chanting ‘Yaathra Prabandham’ (like Shyamala Dhandakam)”

When I went and asked, that lady said yes.

Immediately Periyava said, “Once she is done chanting that shlokam, ask her to go to Swami Sannithi and recite Soundarya Lahiri”. That lady followed instructions.

Periyava came for Pujai after 6 in the evening.

Before starting with the Puja, Periyava called that lady and asked her, “With whom have you come ?”

“I have come with my neighbours”

“Are they here now ?”

“They left because it is getting late”

After this discussion, since it was getting late for His Puja, He proceeded for His Puja.

After the Puja, when He was giving Darshan, He called that lady and ordered, “For 45 days, you should light ghee lamps to ‘Tulsi Madam’ and do PradakshaNam”

Later, He asked the Kannivadi Zamindar who had come for Darshan, “Escort this lady to her house and drop her there safely”. The order was carried out.

About after 45 days, that lady came again, this time with her husband. On seeing me, she said to her husband, “This is the man I was telling you about” and introduced me to her husband. On her request, I explained all that had happened last time.

Eventually, that lady said tearfully (she must have been around 25 years old), “All these days, me and my husband were separated. I came to take Periyava’s Darshan in quest of better times. It is purely due to His grace that we have come together today”

I hear she is living happily with two kids now.
