“His condition is better now”
Kanchi Sankaracharya HH Sri Jayendra Saraswati Swamigal was hospitalised today in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh after He complained of drowsiness and weakness, the police said.
He was rushed to a private hospital in a semi-unconscious condition after which medical examination and other tests were conducted on Him. His condition has now improved, they said, adding all the tests were normal.
“His sugar level went down and He was admitted to a hospital. He is now stable and his condition has improved. A team of doctors from Chennai including His personal doctor is on the way to Nellore. They will decide after checking His health condition whether to shift him to Chennai or not,” Nellore District Superintendent of Police P V S Ramakrishna told PTI.
He was admitted to the hospital at around 4.30 pm after He fell unconscious while getting down from a vehicle, on His way to a temple in Nellore city, sources said.
Kanchi Mutt Pontiff Who arrived in Nellore three days ago, was scheduled to perform a religious ritual at the Chandramouleeswara Swamy temple in Nellore tomorrow.

Just got information from SKGT trustee Sri Ramasubramanian that HH Sri Periyava just got admitted in Sri Ramachandra Hospital at Porur. HH is feeling better but nobody is allowed to meet Him now. Thanks a ton to Guru for passing this on.

HH jas just left Ramachandra Hospital and is going to take rest.
Requesting eveyone not visit His Holiness for atleast a week or so, for He needs complete rest. Only our sincere and constant prayers are important. Thanks so much for your understanding.
