Thanks to Sri Halasya Sundaram Iyer for the share. Sundaram has been involved in this temple for quite some time. He asked me to share this prior to the balalayam only as informational to all readers and not for any fundraising. I was busy traveling and couldnt post on time. We both felt that it is important for our readers to know such a purathana temple completely ignored and great devotees like Sundaram are taking up this renovation work.

தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்டம் நாணல்காடு அருள்மிகு சிவகாமி அம்பாள் சமேத திருக்கண்டீஸ்வரர் ஆலய கோபுர பாலாலய விழா அழைப்பிதழ்
நிகழும் சோபகிருது ஆண்டு ஆவணி மாதம் 17ம் நாள் 03.09.2023 ஞாயிற்றுக் கிழமை காலை 9.00 மணியில் இருந்து 11.00 மணிக்குள் நமது திருக்கோவிலில் கும்பாபிஷேக திருப்பணியை முன்னிட்டு ஆலய கோபுரத்திற்கு பாலாலயமும் அதை தொடர்ந்து இதர தேவதா மூர்த்திகளின் சன்னதிகளுக்கு சிறப்பு அபிஷேகமும் இனிதே நடந்தது.
இந்த ஆலயம் சுமார் 800 வருடங்களை கடந்த பழமையான திருக்கோவில். ஈஸ்வரனுக்கு தர்ப்பாரண்யேஸ்வரர் என்ற பெயரும் உண்டு.
ஆலயத்திற்கு செல்லும் வழி
திருநெல்வேலியில் இருந்து தூத்துக்குடி செல்லும் வழியில் வல்லநாடு என்ற ஊர் வரும். அங்கு இறங்கி அங்கிருந்து இரண்டு கிமீ தொலைவில் இருக்கிறது நாணல்காடு. சிறிய கிராமம். கடைகள் கிடையாது. அதனால் பூஜைக்குரிய பொருட்களை திருநெல்வேலியில் இருந்தே வாங்கி வருவது நல்லது.
