I randomly ran into this lecture. Actually, there is nothing called random – it is all destiny. I was destined to listen to this wonderful lecture by Myladuthurai Sri Raghavan. It was an amazing 80 mts of Ambal’s mahimai in Tamil. The beauty of this lecture is that it focuses in creating an awareness on how many Tamil granthas are available for ambal. To me, it was an eye-opener. Sri Raghavan beautifully explains how certain text is exactly similar to certain Sanskrit work. How Soundarya Lahari’s Kamakala is beautifully explained in Abirami Andhadhi. He goes on in explaining several such comparisons – absolutely stunning. Makes us wonder how much of treasure is in our own Tamil language and one does not have to feel bad for not knowing Sanskrit.
It is brilliant to see how words flowing out of his mouth like a pravaham – all Ambal’s Anugraham.
Key takeaway here is that one does not have to feel bad that they do not have initiation on Devi upasana. they can take notes from this lecture and start chanting these Tamil verses and get blessings from ambal.
It is Her blessings that I ended up listening to this wonderful lecture. Don’t miss – set aside some quality time. My suggestion is that please keep a paper and pen handy to take some notes on the names of the work he is referring to and the sloka name etc. Unfortunately, I listened to this full lecture during a drive. If someone could volunteer to do that, it would be a great service to all.
