தாவரங்களுக்கு ஜலம் கொட்ட வேண்டும். மிருகங்களிடம் அன்பு பாரட்ட வேண்டும். அவற்றிக்குக் கொடுமை செய்யவே கூடாது. இது தவிரவும் வைத்தியசாலைகள், சிறைச்சாலைகள், ஏழை விடுதிகள், அநாதாசிரமங்கள், விதவா இல்லங்கள், பிச்சைக்காரர் விடுதிகள் முதலியவற்றைப் போய்ப் பார்த்தால் தெரியும், மநுஷ்யர்கள் எத்தனை தினுஸான கஷ்டங்களுக்கு ஆளாகிறார்கள் என்பது. இவற்றை மஹான்கள்தான் என்றில்லை. ஸாதாரண ஜனங்களான நாமும் ஓரளவுக்குத் தீர்த்து வைக்க முடியும். இம்மாதிரியான இடங்களைப் போய்ப் பார்த்தால் நம் போன்றவர்களின் உபகாரத்தைக் கூட ஈஸ்வரன் எத்தனை ரூபங்களில் வந்து எதிர்பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறான் என்று தெரியும். நாம் செய்யவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால், ஒரே வார்த்தையில் சொல்ல வேண்டுமானால், துக்கம் எங்கே உண்டோ, அங்கே நாம் வலுவில் போய், அந்த துக்க நிவிருத்திக்கு நம்மால் ஆகக்கூடியதையெல்லாம் பண்ண முயலுவதேயாகும். பணத்தாலோ, சரீரத்தாலோ, வாக்காலோ நம்மால் முடிந்த உதவியைப் பண்ண வேண்டியது நம் கடன், கடமை, Duty. – ஜகத்குரு ஸ்ரீசந்திரசேகரேந்திர சரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகளின் அருள்மொழிகள்
We should water the plants, be kind to animals and not torture them. We should show love to them. If we visit hospitals, prisons, orphanages, and charitable homes we will realise that so many human beings are undergoing innumerable sufferings. Not necessarily, evolved souls, but also ordinary mortals like us can alleviate these sufferings to some extent. When we see such places, we can understand how Bhagawan, in varied forms, is expecting even people like us to do whatever little help we can. It is our bounden duty to help others financially, physically or through kind words. Jaya Jaya Sankara Hara Hara Sankara – Before someone asks why are we saving goats let me explain. When I went out to see a cow that was about to sold for this weekend Bakrid I also saw these two small goats being bargained by the butcher for the festival. Since I know the seller I asked him to give me a day; arranged for funds through my contacts and got these goats saved along with the cow. Rest assured, your contributions for cow rescues will only be used for that cause and nothing else. I wanted to keep you informed and honest. Also, saving goats is a one off Jeeva Karunaya kainkaryam and I’m not digressing from our mission of Gho Samrakshanam.
Over the past few days saved around 14 cows along with the 2 goats. The cows were saved from Shollinganallur, Marakkannam, and Thiruvallur areas. They were all lined up for the upcoming Bakrid and Periyava’s karunyam saved those lives. In fact three of the pure Ongole breed cows were rescued just minutes ago directly from a Thiruvallur Slaughter house. All these cows are safely residing in Sri Gokula Krishna Gosala, Maram farmhouse and in Rishabh Global Foundation.
