I have said this 1000 times – yet I am going to say it again…As an admin of this blog, nothing more makes me happier than hearing from someone that they were inspired by Mahaperiyava’s articles/teachings and started following His upadesams.
Yesterday, I got an email from Sri Sivaramakrishnan of Bangalore. The email itself is self-explanatory.

Dear Mr Mahesh
I’m a regular reader of your blog since couple of years and an ardent devotee of Mahaperiyava like many of us in the blog.
I appreciate your sincere efforts to create a blog for spreading the teachings of Mahaperiyava & lead our life based on the teachings of our Sathguru.
Infact, I drew inspiration from one of your suggestion of forming a like minded group for doing the Sahasra Gayathri Japam and had started the same in my office (working in Mphasis, Bangalore). Initially, I started with 2 people (Self + one more colleague of mine), but gradually this group has expanded to 20 people in the last 1+ year (all are office colleagues).
Similarly taking cue from the Ekadasi reminders, I have started observing Ekadasi fasting in the last 1 year. Mahaperiyava should bestow his grace on our group & give us determination & strength to continue this.
I am eager to offer my services for the successful running of the blog. Let me know for any opportunities to offer my services.
JAYA JAYA SHANKARA ! HARA HARA SHANKARA !!

Thank you Sri Sivaramakrishnan…My salute to you for not just following these but also inspiring others to do….I remember when Hari Ramasubbu and myself started this Sunday Sahasra Gayathri group….We started off with 5-6 of us and subsequently it grew to a larger number. We had our best days and we have also seen downtimes….These are quite common and one thing that we must remember is to have a firm determination to keep motivating others when we see too much of downtime so that they pick up the momentum…. I am sure Kanchi Acharyas will bless all of your satsang members and hoping to see this satsang expanding in size as well.
I am posting this here so that others could get motivated from what Sivaramakrishnan is doing….
Hara Hara Sankara Jaya Jaya Sankara!
