I am almost back after my Kailash Yatra. With the divine blessings of acharyas, the yatra was very successfully completed few days back. It is definitely a yatra of a lifetime. For some, this is the first and last trip, for some this is an on-going journey and for some this is just the beginning…A total of 36 yatris accompanied by devi upasakars, ganapadigals and great sivanadiyars. Wonderful trip – avan arulale avan thaal vanangi. The most fantastic thing about this trip is that each and every yatri is a staunch Mahaperiyava/Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam devotee.
I personally started my trip by getting darshan of Lord Pasupathinath in Kathmandu as per HH Balaperiyava’s direction…..I will share a post exclusively on this soon…
There are so many incidents and so many moments that I want to share – I will slowly. I have captured few wonderful incidents from Brahmasri Gopala Ganapadigal and few others who had a great fortune to interact with Mahaperiyava.
As Sri Ganapadigal was telling that one should visit Kailash in their lifetime. Without that a lifetime is wasted…..Anything beyond that is optional. In our case, only 15 went beyond Manasarover to do complete parikrama – that includes very young brave kids…..If you are healthy enough and can afford a trip, please do complete this trip. The dip in the lake maanasarover will take care of us for the lifetime. Remember the lake itself is a sakthi peetam….
We were so fortunate to have http://www.Touchkailash.com as our tour guides – one of the most trusted agencies who were absolutely trust-worthy and made this a great success for us….
Hara Hara Sankara Jaya Jaya Sankara!!
Kailash Maharajki Jai!!!!
Brahamsri Gopala Ganapadigal is doing Rudrabishekam in Lake Manasrover with other Periyava devotees…
A devi upasakar, who led this team is doing chaturavarthi tharpanam to Maha Ganapathi on the rocky banks of River Karnali in Hilsa for smooth travels..
This same river bed had another fantastic Mahaperiyava abishekam/puja ..We were all stuck in Hilsa for 2 full days..The chinese entry point was closed and they would open only the next day morning….We were so dreading to stay one more night there as there are no toilets etc ..On the 2nd day afternoon, we decided to go and do Periyava abishekam. I had carried this virgraham with us for the yatra. We did abishekam with veda gosham – rudram, chamakam, sukthams, taitriya upanishad etc – whatever we learnt – for a good 90+ minutes….We returned to our rooms…Within 15 mts, we got a call that we are going to be allowed! We hurriedly packed our bags and we went to the China border and drove to their customs office. Here is the fun part – the whole office was shut down and the officers have gone home – they reopened the office just for us – turned on the lights, cleared us etc. If we had gotten stuck in Hilsa for one more day, parikrama wouldn’t have been possible and weather also changed – rained etc…The whole trip would have pushed by a day etc. Periyava saved us from all those headaches!
The brave kids who completed the parikrama…
