Where does Dhandam rest?

Jaya Jaya Shankara Hara Hara Shankara,

Interesting pictures that shows where our Aacharyas keep their dhandams (top portion) when they give darshan. I have seen many times Sri Pudhu Periyava’s dhandam resting in  Perumal’s crown or Thiruman as seen in the picture below. This picture is taken from Sri Pudhu Periyava darshan room in Kanchipuram.

The other picture below is very natural where Sri Bala Periyava is seen talking to someone and due to divine sankalpam the dhandam (top portion) is placed exactly in the mouth of Baby Krishna as if he is playing flute.  Hare Krishna! Ram Ram.
