2014 Chicago Maharudram Invitation

rudra_homam3

I am very happy to share the invitation to all readers in US to a very grand Maharudra Yagna event that is going to be hosted by Hindu Mandir of Lake County in Grayslake, IL (suburb of Chicago) from May 2 to May 4, 2014. We will have more than 121 ritwiks from around the country to chant Rudram, Chamakam and other strotras in praise of Lord Shiva during those days. The whole event will end on Sunday, May 4 with Rudra Homam and Purnahuthi.

The pradhana acharya for the event is BrahmaSri Yagneswara Dikshitar who has over 50 years experience in conducting similar Yajnas and he will be ably supported by over 15 priests (vadhyars) from all over USA. This is a very rare opportunity to experience an event of this magnitude and all are invited to attend.
In 2009, KKSF conducted a similar event. At that time we were learning to conduct an event of such magnitude. We learnt lot of lessons from that event. Subsequently, we started supporting various Maharaudram events within US over a period of years. All experiences will be reflected upon in this event!! I can guarantee that this is going to be a great event from every perspective – arrangement, logistics, adherence to vedic guidelines, ritwik selection etc. The team has mastered the art of planning for such an event and great details have gone into each activities…All of us in Chicago is very excited and looking forward to this event.

The vibrations that will be created in this event is going to be beyond words! On behalf of the temple, I would like to invite all of the readers in US to attend this grand event and receive the blessings of Lord Siva. Don’t miss it!

I read it somewhere that wherever Sri Rudram is chanted, Mahaperiyava is pratyaksham in that place. I am sure Mahaperiyava will guide us and bless everyone who attends this event.

If you have learnt veda from an acharya and want to participate as a ritwik, please register yourself through the link in the site.
