When I first heard this, I thought, “wow, that’s a great idea!”. For me, who have been wanting to produce a weekly serial on Mahaperiyava (million times better than all the glycerin-based azhugai serials), this sounded like a great compromise. But still my appetite to make this tele-serial will stay forever. I may have to win some lotteries or be buddies of some rich friends to make my dream come true 🙂
Back to the drama, it is a lovely idea – and I believe this has come to real…. Here are some details….Check it out…If there is a play near you, please attend and show your support. We need them to be popular and carry Periyava messages wherever possible…
Here are some snippets from this tamil play::
The play portraits a devotee of Kanchi Mahaperiyava (Vembu Iyer) who has taken the mission of completing the Kumbhabhisheam of his Village Temple. The drama starts with Unchavrutti Bhajan and through out the drama it is filled with Naama Sankeerthanam and conveys lot of valuable messages which needs to be imbibed by every one.
Sri Muthukumaran and his team needs kudos in executing such a valuable play conveying the divine message of Periyava.
These kinds of play is very rare in the modern day and needs to be supported by everyone.
I hereby request those in charge of the Sabhas/Cultural Associations across the globe to conduct these kinds of Play in their town/village so that our younger generations are benefited.
