Thanks to Sri Bharath Subramanian witness the great historic and sacred 2500+ yrs old cave and adhistanam of Sri Govinda Baghwathpada who waited to meet and train his sishya Sri Adi Shankara.
Shankara stayed in this cave for 4 yrs and received several levels of trainings on ADVAITA SHASTRA and also penned the great NARMADA ASHTAKAM.
Sri jabalpur nagaraja sarma discovered this cave with the guidance of mahaperiyava after going around for 7 yrs to various caves around narmada.You may find his interview in the blog – search for “jabalpur”.
Now Bharath was there traveling – went to this cave and did a nice capture of the cave and also some historical details for us.
