Thevaram and Thiruvasagam are the highly worshipped work that praise Lord Shiva. Mahaperiyava considered these work as the most precious and encourage the odhuvars and encourage all artists who have sung these. Sri Pradosham mama school of bakthi is known to sing several pathigams in praise of Mahaperiyava. Kanjira Vidwan Sri Ganesh Kumar, who learnt Periyava bakthi from mama is planning to start a new initiative to teach Thevaram both for parayanam and also for singing. I am going to send weekly one Thevaram / Thiruvasagam to all the interested people in a chanting method, and also few Thevarams in singing method. If possible, I will be also explaining the importance of chanting a particular Thevaram and history of the place, Swami, temple in a short and simple way.
Soon, I will be creating a broadcast list and will be sent through Whatsapp every weekends.
