On this auspicious Maha Sivarathri and Prodosham day very happy to share with you another vintage drawing by Sowmya. As Sri Periyava mentioned in Deivathin Kural, usually Sivarathri is associated with Lord Siva in linga Swaroopam. However in this drawing the Lord prefers to be in the form on Dakshinamurty (one for Lord Siva’s many forms) and our Bhagawathpadhal who is an incarnation of Lord Siva himself as stated by our Periyava and Vedas 🙂 Share and enjoy!
