கன்யா குரிச்சி அம்மன் துணை!

பிரமுகர் தெளிவான விடை கூற முடியாமல் தத்தளித்தார்.

“அங்கே ஒரு மஹாமாயா (மாரியம்மன்) கோயில் இருக்கு. ரொம்ப சக்திவாய்ந்த அம்மன். அம்பாள் அபிஷேகத்துக்கு அம்பது ரூபா அனுப்பு. கார் முன் பக்கத்திலே – “கன்யா குரிச்சி அம்மன் துணை” என்று எழுது..”

பிரமுகர் திகைத்துப் போய்விட்டார்.

“எங்களுக்குக் கன்யாகுரிச்சி அம்மன்தான் குலதெய்வம். எங்க அப்பா – அம்மா, வருஷா வருஷம் அந்தக் கோயிலுக்குப் போவார்கள் . அம்மனுக்கு அபிஷேகம் செய்வார்கள். குடும்பத்தில் குழந்தைகளுக்கு முதல் முடி இறக்குவதற்கு அங்கே போவது தான் வழக்கம்.. எப்படியோ எங்களுக்கு எங்கக் குடும்பப் பழக்கம் மறந்து போச்சு! நல்லவேளை, பெரியவா ஆக்ஞையிட்டு , நினைவு படுத்தியிருக்கா..”

அந்தக் காருக்கு இதற்குப் பின்னர் எவ்விதமான விபத்தும் ஏற்படவில்லை. எப்படி ஏற்படும்? மஹாமாயா அல்லவா பாதுகாத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறாள்!

Kanya Kurichchi Amman ThuNai

English Translation : Shri Krishna

A prominent man from Pattukkottai came for Periyava’ Darshan.
“I bought a new car. But, from the day I bought it, it has been involved in many accidents. As per the advice from astrologers, I did many ‘Pariharams’. All in vain”, he said sadly.
Periyava was silent for some time. Then he said, “There is a place called Kanya Kurichchi near your village, right ?”
The devotee was not aware and just stood there without being able to reply.
“There is a Mahamaaya (Mariyamman) temple there. Very powerful Amman. Send fifty rupees for the Ambal’s Abhishekham. On the front of the car, write “Kanya Kurichchi Amman ThuNai”
The devotee was left stunned.
“Kanya Kurichchi Amman is our ‘Kuladeivam’. My parents used to visit this temple regularly every year and perform Abhishekham to the Ambal. We also used to go there for performing the tonsure ceremony of newly borns. For some reason, we forgot the family tradition. Fortunately, Periyava reminded me by issuing this order”
That car was not involved in any more accidents. How can it ? After all, it is Mahamaaya who is guarding it !
